The Role

The Building Engineer assists the Assistant Manager, Project in the project and construction management of dwellings, factories, commercial and other types of buildings and/or construction.

We are looking for a technically strong and hands‑on Senior Project Engineer to support the delivery of PLC/SCADA projects from concept through design, integration, testing, commissioning, and maintenance. The role requires close coordination with customers and internal teams, strong troubleshooting capabilities, and solid experience in industrial automation systems.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and execute detailed engineering design, system integration, testing, commissioning, and handover of completed PLC/SCADA systems.
• Develop prototypes, conduct factory acceptance tests (FAT), site acceptance tests (SAT), and support on‑site commissioning activities.
• Coordinate closely with customers, project managers, and internal engineering teams to ensure effective planning, execution, and adherence to project schedules.
• Manage and participate in factory testing at company premises as well as at customer sites.
• Perform hardware and software integration, including PLC programming, SCADA configuration, and system implementation.
• Ensure proper execution of engineering, integration, and maintenance works with full compliance to quality assurance and technical standards.
• Manage application program changes, hardware deployment, version control, and technical documentation.
• Implement PLC/SCADA solutions from conceptual design through programming and final deployment.
• Interface with SCADA and PLC systems across multiple platforms and subsystems.
• Prepare technical reports, drawings, and documentation, and support client meetings and technical discussions.
• Independently perform system troubleshooting, fault diagnosis, and issue resolution during testing and operations.

Ideally, you should possess

• Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical, Electronic Engineering, or a related discipline.
• 3–5 years of hands‑on experience in PLC/SCADA engineering and industrial automation projects.
• Experience with Safety PLC programming is required.
• Proficient in Siemens and Schneider PLC platforms.
• Strong ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, drawings, and technical specifications.
• Proven ability to work under pressure, manage multiple tasks, and meet project deadlines.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Role: Senior / DeltaV Programmer - LSMG

Responsibilities

• Responsible for the design and delivery of DeltaV application system on site.
• Participate in the development and implementation of Automation solutions in line with S88 standards for the plant.
• Creates and maintains applications according to technical design and requirements.
• Develop and/or review System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) deliverables, compliant with the site’s standards. Determine the processes and data flow that supports the needs of the project.
• Design & Develop plan for modifications to be made to the system through working with team in development of systems architecture, specifications, controls strategies, sequence of operations through all stages.

Requirements

• Experience in a similar role, ideally in the Pharmaceutical and/or Biotechnology industry.
• Emerson DeltaV DCS system experience and DeltaV Batch experience required
• Experience in the Designing and commissioning of DeltaV DCS project for GMP manufacturing site.
• Technical proficiency on controls systems including familiarity with control panels, networking, panel/field wiring and PLC control systems.
• Through understanding of Batch s88 standards (CM, EM, Phases, Recipes, Units etc)
• Familiarity with GAMP lifecycle and quality management processes employed in the pharmaceutical sector
• Ability to work well in a team environment
• Supervise and conduct system testing Factory Acceptance Test (FAT)
• Excellent computer skills, proficient in the use of the following Microsoft tools: Excel, SharePoint, Word and PowerPoint.
• Excellent communication and customer orientation skills
• Good analytical & problem-solving skills
• Ensure project Automation Strategy is followed.
