In this role, you will be responsible for leading and executing the safe, compliant, and systematic retirement of process equipment and utility systems. This is a critical 6-month contract role ensuring all decommissioning activities adhere strictly to global GMP standards and site safety protocols.

Key Responsibilities

• Project Execution: Plan, coordinate, and oversee the physical decommissioning, isolation, and dismantling of pharmaceutical manufacturing equipment and utility systems.

• GMP & Quality Compliance: Author, review, and manage formal Change Controls, impact assessments, and decommissioning protocols in alignment with Quality Assurance (QA).

Skills and experience required

• Experience: Minimum of 3 years of direct experience in Validation, Qualification, Commissioning, or Decommissioning Engineering within the biopharmaceutical or pharmaceutical manufacturing industry.

• Regulatory Knowledge: Strong working knowledge of Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and regulatory compliance standards.

• Technical Skills: Familiarity with pharmaceutical process equipment (e.g., bioreactors, purification systems, filling lines) and clean utilities (WFI, Pure Steam).

SUMMARY

Represent the quality function of technical support, in conjunction with other internal support groups, regarding issues affecting manufacturing.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned.

· Develop and maintain QA plans and process routings, which reflect intended/actual activities.
