Key Responsibilities

• Provide1st and 2nd level onsite IT support for hardware, software, network, printing and system related issues
• Install, configure, and maintain desktops, laptops, mobile devices, and other IT equipment

IT Engineer

Key Responsibilities

• AI-Driven Solutions Engineering — Translate business requirements into well-architected solutions; identify manual processes and engineer scalable automation — including AI agents and LLM-powered workflows — to eliminate them.
• Full-Stack Development — Design, develop, and maintain internal web applications end-to-end, with seamless integration into existing platforms, using AI-assisted development tooling to accelerate delivery across the stack.
• AI Tooling & Integration — Build and maintain internal tools and integrations on top of LLM APIs and AI platforms; continuously evaluate emerging AI capabilities and embed them into engineering and business workflows.
• Infrastructure & Cloud — Architect and maintain a hybrid environment spanning on-premises servers and multi-cloud workloads (Google Cloud, Alibaba Cloud); ensure the reliability, availability, and performance of all core IT systems.
• Database Management — Own database design, maintenance, and performance optimization across production environments.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience in IT & full-stack web development
• Fluency with AI development tooling (e.g., Cursor, Claude Code) and a proven track record of leveraging it to materially accelerate delivery.
• Hands-on experience building with AI — integrating AI into applications, automations, or internal tools — and a strong grasp of how to apply AI effectively and securely in production.
• Strong full-stack development capability in TypeScript/JavaScript (Node.js) and a modern front-end framework such as React; working knowledge of PHP is advantageous.
• A solid command of database design and performance optimization (e.g., MySQL).
• A strong understanding of cloud platforms (Google Cloud, Alibaba Cloud) alongside physical server configuration.
• A comprehensive grasp of cyber-security principles and secure-by-design practice, including vulnerability and patch management.
• An industry-recognized security certification (CISSP, CISA, or equivalent) is highly regarded.

Job description

We are looking for a hands-on IT Manager to oversee and drive all IT functions across a growing group of companies in the maritime and trading space.

 This role will manage daily IT operations while leading system improvements, cybersecurity, and infrastructure across multiple entities. You will play a key role in ensuring business-critical systems remain reliable, secure, and scalable.

Responsibilities and Duties

Infrastructure & Operations

·       Manage IT infrastructure including servers, cloud, and business systems

·       Oversee network performance (LAN/WAN, VPNs, firewalls, wireless)

·       Ensure system uptime, reliability, and performance across all entities

·       Manage IT assets (laptops, work mobiles, licences) and standardisation

Cybersecurity & Compliance

·       Implement and enforce cybersecurity measures (endpoint protection, access controls, encryption)

·       Monitor and respond to security risks and vulnerabilities

·       Ensure compliance with PDPA and internal data protection policies

·       Develop and maintain disaster recovery and business continuity plans

Systems & Projects

·       Lead IT projects (system implementation, ERP, cloud migration, digitalisation)

·       Support and improve finance, trading, and operational systems

·       Manage system integrations and process improvements

Governance & Vendor Management

·       Develop IT policies, SOPs, and governance frameworks

Qualifications

1. OMS full-cycle ownership: Lead requirements analysis and testing for the OMS system, covering web portal, WeChat mini-program, Android, and iOS platforms(development & maintenance).

2. Mobile app know-how: Possess basic mobile application development skills, primarily focused on app updates and version release coordination.

3. Production support & multi-system maintenance: Ensure operational stability for integrated systems besides OMS, including the BC financial system, WMS warehouse system, and Guanmai (Vegetable Division) system.

4. Technical& coding background: Understand code, with hands-on experience in development/testing; leverage strong project management skills using Agile (Scrum). Collaborate with Product Owner to refine backlog, split user stories, negotiate with developers, triage

production bugs, and propose solutions.

5. Data base expertise: Proficient in SQL (relational databases) and experienced with No SQL databases such as MongoDB.

6. API &system integration: Proven experience integrating different platforms via API; understand interface field mappings, communicate effectively with various vendors, and drive alignment.

7. Agile mastery: Facilitate sprint backlog creation, sprint planning, iteration cycles, and data migration activities.

8. ERP/BC domain basics: Solid understanding of basic BC (Business Central) or ERP software usage; possess foundational financial domain knowledge, comprehend BC system functions, and resolve common issues.

9. Process mapping & grant experience: Ability to draw professional flowcharts (e.g.,UML, BPMN); previous experience handling government grant applications/submissions.

10. Cloud knowledge (Huawei Cloud): As the OMS system is deployed on Huawei Cloud, basic cloud computing knowledge is required, including cloud resource management, deployment

configuration, and fundamental operations/maintenance concepts.

11. AI exposure (plus): Familiarity with AI concepts, tools, or applied AI experienceis a strong plus.
