The Accounts Manager oversees the finance and accounting functions, ensuring compliance with statutory requirements and supporting the company’s property and real estate operations. This role involves managing a team, preparing financial reports, and providing strategic insights to management.
Key Responsibilities
1 Lead and supervise the accounting team, ensuring accuracy and timeliness of financial reporting.
2 Handle/oversee full set of accounts, including AP, AR, GL, and bank reconciliations.
3 Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.
4 Ensure compliance with accounting standards, tax regulations, and audit requirements.
5 Manage cash flow, budgeting, and forecasting for property projects and company operations.
6 Liaise with auditors, tax agents, and regulatory authorities.
7 Provide financial analysis to support management decisions on property investments, leasing, and sales.
8 Implement internal controls and improve accounting processes.
Requirements
1 Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field; professional certification (CPA/ACCA) preferred.
2 Minimum 8 years of accounting experience, with at least 5 years in a managerial role.
3 Strong knowledge of Singapore accounting standards, GST, and corporate tax.
4 Experience in property or real estate industry is an advantage.
5 Proficient in accounting software and MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
6 Strong leadership, analytical, and communication skills.
