Front of House Associate
Reports To: FOH Assistant Manager
About the Role
We are looking for a customer-focused and energetic Front of House Associate to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer experiences while supporting the day-to-day operations of the store. Working closely with the FOH Assistant Manager, you will help maintain high service standards, ensure operational excellence, and create a welcoming environment for every customer.
As a key frontline representative of our brand, you will play an important role in ensuring smooth store operations, maintaining quality standards, and contributing to sales performance.
Job Summary
The Front of House Associate is responsible for providing excellent customer service and supporting the daily operations of the store. Working closely with the FOH Assistant Manager, you will help maintain service standards, ensure store cleanliness, support sales activities, and create a positive experience for every customer.
Key Responsibilities
Customer Service
- Greet and assist customers in a friendly and professional manner.
- Answer customer enquiries and resolve basic issues.
- Escalate customer complaints or concerns to the FOH Assistant Manager when necessary.
- Deliver excellent service that reflects the company's brand and values.
Store Operations
- Perform opening and closing duties as assigned.
- Maintain cleanliness, organisation, and hygiene standards throughout the store.
- Replenish stock and report inventory shortages.
- Follow food safety and sanitation procedures at all times.
Sales & POS Operations
- Support daily sales targets through product recommendations and up-selling.
- Operate the POS system accurately and follow cash handling procedures.
- Report any POS or transaction issues promptly.
Teamwork & Quality
- Work closely with team members to ensure smooth daily operations.
- Follow company policies, procedures, and assigned tasks.
- Participate in training sessions and team briefings.
- Ensure products and displays meet company quality and presentation standards.
Promotions & Marketing Support
- Assist with in-store promotions and seasonal campaigns.
- Support promotional sales activities.
- Gather customer feedback and assist with content collection when required.
Requirements
- Customer service, retail, or F&B experience is an advantage.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Positive attitude and customer-focused mindset.
- Able to work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
- Able to work rotating shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
