Responsibilities:

• Oversee daily warehouse operations – oversee inbound receiving, inter warehouse transfer (IWT), reverse logistics, cycle count and export shipment.

• Supervise and lead warehouse staff – manage, coach, and monitor performance of warehouse team members.

• Coordinate inventory control – conduct and support regular inventory checks, cycle counts and reconcile physical stock with system records.

• Maintain warehouse safety compliance – ensure all safety rules, health standards, and regulatory requirements are followed within the warehouse.

• Implement and monitor SOPs – enforce standard operation procedures (SOPs) for all warehouse activities and help update procedures for better efficiency.

• Manage import shipments – liaise with local forwarders to arrange shipment truck in and out. To check accuracy of import receiving and putaway.

• Assist with system and data management – update warehouse system, handle stock IWT transactions and database entries.

• Manage stock discrepancies – investigate stock variances, oversee adjustments, and implement corrective actions for inventory errors.

• Support continuous improvement – identify and suggest workflow improvements, cost-saving ideas, and efficiency initiatives.

• Handle ad-hoc duties – carry out additional tasks assigned by the warehouse manager or senior management as required.

• Ensure timely inbound/outbound fulfilment in line with KPIs
• Manage inventory accuracy, cycle counts, and scrap disposal
• Lead a team of ~200 staff, including training and performance management
• Drive continuous improvement, productivity, and quality initiatives
• Engage stakeholders through regular KPI, safety, and operations meetings
• Ensure workplace safety, SOP compliance, and facility maintenance

Requirements:

• Minimum Diploma
• Minimum 5 years of contract logistics leadership background
• Knowledge in SAP is advantageous
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills, with ability to translate operational concepts clearly
• Proven people management experience with customer-focused and sound judgment
• Strategic thinker with project management, problem-solving, and data analytics skills
