This role will collaborate closely with Sales, Marketing, and R&D teams to align strategic priorities, coordinate cross-functional initiatives, and drive successful project delivery and commercial growth

Key Responsibilities:

1)    Lead Technical Customer Support

• Serve as the primary technical expert for customers, providing guidance on additive technologies and their impact on product performance and processing conditions.
• Act as the go-to technical advisor for both direct and indirect customers, addressing complex technical challenges and inquiries.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with key customer stakeholders, becoming their trusted partner for technical support.
• Identify customer challenges, develop workable hypotheses, and design and execute laboratory or production-scale trials to validate solutions.

2)    Drive Customer Value and Commercial Success

• Collaborate closely with Sales, Marketing, and R&D teams to align priorities, coordinate initiatives, and accelerate project delivery and business results.
• Keep up to date with emerging developments in polymers, additives, and industry applications to provide relevant technical expertise.
• Evaluate and demonstrate the value delivered by company solutions to customers.
• Identify customer requirements and help translate technical benefits into tangible commercial opportunities.

3)    Support Innovation and Product Development

• Contribute actively to the global technical network by sharing knowledge, best practices, and problem-solving expertise.
• Partner with the New Product Development team to support customer adoption and successful commercialization of new products.
• Leverage market intelligence and industry insights to identify opportunities for innovation and future growth.

Key Qualifications:

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Engineering, Materials Science, Polymer Science, or a related technical discipline.
• Minimum of 7 years of experience in a customer-facing technical support role or a technical position within the plastics industry.
• Hands-on expertise in polyolefins, including PP/PE production, compounding, conversion, additives, or masterbatch applications, is highly preferred.
• Proficiency in both Korean and English, written and spoken, is essential to effectively engage with customers and stakeholders across the Korean market.
