Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced BIM Manager to lead and oversee Building Information Modeling (BIM) implementation for our cabling and IT infrastructure projects. This role is responsible for managing BIM processes, ensuring coordination across disciplines, and driving digital construction excellence. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between engineering, construction, and IT systems while ensuring high-quality project delivery through efficient BIM workflows.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development, implementation, and management of BIM standards, protocols, and workflows across all projects
- Oversee BIM coordination for ELV systems, structured cabling, data centers, and IT network infrastructure within construction environments
- Manage and review 3D models to ensure accuracy, clash detection, and integration with architectural, structural, and MEP models
- Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and external stakeholders to ensure seamless coordination and timely delivery
- Conduct BIM coordination meetings and resolve design conflicts using tools such as Navisworks or similar platforms
- Ensure compliance with client BIM requirements, industry standards, and regulatory guidelines
- Develop and maintain BIM Execution Plans (BEP) and project documentation
- Provide technical guidance, training, and mentorship to BIM coordinators and modelers
- Monitor BIM performance metrics and continuously improve digital workflows and efficiencies
- Support digital handover processes, including asset data, as-built models, and facilities management integration
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Construction Management, IT, or a related field
- Minimum 5–8 years of experience in BIM, with at least 2 years in a managerial or lead role
- Strong experience in cabling systems, ELV, ICT infrastructure, or data center projects within the construction sector
- Proficiency in BIM software such as Revit, Navisworks, AutoCAD, and BIM 360 or equivalent platforms
- Solid understanding of BIM standards (e.g., ISO 19650) and construction workflows
- Experience in clash detection, model coordination, and digital project delivery
- Strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment
Preferred Qualifications:
- BIM certification or relevant professional accreditation
- Experience working with contractors or system integrators in cabling/IT infrastructure
- Knowledge of smart building technologies and digital twin concepts
- Familiarity with scripting or automation tools (e.g., Dynamo, Python) is an advantage
