Job Description of Assistant Project and Network Engineer
* Regularly reviewing, monitoring, documenting, performing and remediating tasks (completed and ongoing) to ensure compliance with standards and ensure customer SLA are met.
* Configuring, hardening, setting up, managing, documenting, deploying and maintaining on-premise and virtual machine operating systems.
* Configuring, hardening, setting up, managing, documenting, deploying and maintaining cloud services, desktop softwares, wired/wireless/mobile 4G/5G/6G networks, IT/OT and IT Security infrastructures.
* Configuring, setting up, managing, documenting, deploying firewalls with security policies to automate and manage threat detection and vulnerabilities.
* Performing and managing asset management, change management, resolution management including incident logging, classification for diagnosis and recovery, reporting for case and vulnerability management.
* Tracking deadlines, coordinating meetings, producing meeting minutes, updating project plans, drawing network diagrams and providing progress reports to support project execution and management.
* Managing tender submission timelines, creating and maintaining content libraries, supporting the end-to-end tender process, coordinating inputs from sales, technical, and legal teams to produce compliant, high-quality, and winning proposals.
* Labeling cables, splicing and/or crimping cables, testing cable integrity, cleaning, installing and routing cables through conduits, walls, ceilings, or underground pathways.
Skills/ Certification Requirements
* Minimum CCNP (Enterprise and Collaboration) certification
* Conversant in
** understanding and hands-on in Link Aggregation, LAG, LACP and VLAN
** use of GNS3, Packet Tracer, wireshark and tcpdump for network analysis/simulation
** use of Pareto and Ai tools to articulate analysis
* At least 3 years of experience providing network operational and administration supporting Meraki and Cisco products (Routers / Switches/WLAN)
* Diploma from a Singapore institution
* Minimum GCE O or N level English at C6
* Ad-hoc travel to service customers in Asia
* Able to work during customers' non production hours as needed (12 midnight to 6am)
* Able to use MS Office proficiently
