Job Responsibilities

1. Handle the intake, transfer, and movement of deceased pets with care, dignity, and respect at all times.
2. Carry out basic preparation and clean-up duties for deceased pets, equipment, work areas, and holding areas in accordance with hygiene and operational procedures.
3. Learn and operate cremation equipment safely and properly, including start-up, monitoring, shutdown, and basic troubleshooting in accordance with company procedures and safety requirements.
4. Ensure each cremation is carried out accurately and respectfully, with proper identification, tagging, and tracking to avoid any mix-up of pets or ashes.
5. Support the collection and transportation of deceased pets and related items, where required.
6. Prepare, pack, label, and hand over ashes, urns, and memorial items accurately and professionally.
7. Maintain cleanliness and readiness of the cremation facility, equipment, vehicles, and work environment at all times.
8. Comply with workplace safety, hygiene, and operational standards, including the proper use of protective equipment and safe manual handling practices.
9. Provide operational support to front-line staff and work closely with colleagues to ensure smooth daily scheduling and service delivery.
10. Where required, interact with pet owners in a calm, respectful, and compassionate manner during collection, handover, or service-related communication.
11. Report equipment issues, operational incidents, discrepancies, or safety concerns promptly to the supervisor.
12. Perform other related operational duties as assigned by the company.

Job Requirements

1. Comfortable with hands-on handling of deceased pets and able to work in a pet aftercare/cremation environment.
2. Compassionate, respectful, and emotionally mature, with the ability to deal sensitively with grieving pet owners.
3. Willing to learn and operate cremation equipment and follow strict operational, hygiene, and safety procedures.
4. Physically fit and able to carry, lift, and move pets and related items safely.
5. Responsible, careful, and detail-oriented, especially in identification, tracking, and handling processes.
6. Willing to work on weekends, including either Saturday or Sunday, based on roster arrangements.
7. Prior experience in cremation operations, funeral services, pet care, animal handling, logistics, or related operational work will be an advantage, but training may be provided for suitable candidates.
8. Possession of a valid Singapore Class 3 driving licence is an advantage.
9. Able to communicate clearly and professionally with colleagues and, where required, with customers.

We are seeking a skilled and passionate Chef de Partie to join our Team. The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and presenting high-quality French cuisine, supporting kitchen operations, and contributing to menu development. This role requires a strong commitment to food quality, hygiene, consistency, and teamwork to ensure an excellent dining experience for guests.

Key Responsibilities

1. Prepare, cook, and finish high-quality French dishes in accordance with the restaurant’s standards.
2. Manage the assigned kitchen section and ensure smooth daily operations during food preparation and service.
3. Support the planning and development of new menu items, seasonal offerings, and weekly specials.
4. Maintain consistency in food quality, taste, portioning, and presentation.
5. Ensure compliance with food hygiene, sanitation, and workplace safety standards.
6. Monitor stock usage, reduce wastage, and support inventory control for the assigned section.
7. Work closely with the front-of-house team to ensure efficient service and a positive guest experience.
8. Assist in maintaining cleanliness, orderliness, and proper upkeep of kitchen equipment and work areas.
9. Support junior kitchen staff where required and contribute to a cooperative kitchen environment.

Requirements

1. Minimum 8 years of relevant experience in culinary operations, with strong experience as a Crêpe Chef or in French cuisine.
2. Good knowledge of French cooking methods, ingredients, and presentation techniques.
3. Proven ability to manage a kitchen section effectively in a fast-paced restaurant environment.
4. Experience in menu planning and dish development.
5. Strong understanding of service operations and kitchen coordination.
