Overview

We are a growing law practice seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Family Law Paralegal / Legal Secretary to support our lawyers in handling divorce and family law matters. The ideal candidate should be organised, proactive, and able to manage sensitive matters with discretion and professionalism.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide administrative and legal support to lawyers in family law matters, including divorce, custody, maintenance, and division of assets
• Draft, format, and proofread legal documents (e.g. affidavits, pleadings, correspondence)
• Manage court filings via eLitigation and ensure compliance with Family Justice Courts procedures and timelines
• Liaise with clients, courts, and opposing counsel in a professional manner
• Maintain and organise physical and electronic case files
• Schedule appointments, hearings, and manage lawyers’ calendars
• Assist in preparation of bundles for court hearings and mediations
• Handle confidential information with strict discretion

Requirements

• Diploma / Degree in Law, Legal Studies, or relevant discipline
• Prior experience in family law or litigation support preferred
• Familiarity with Singapore court procedures and eLitigation system
• Strong drafting and communication skills
• Meticulous, organised, and able to work under tight deadlines
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Positive attitude and ability to work both independently and in a team

What We Offer

• Basic salary of at least $2,500.00
