• Cross-Functional Alignment: Coordinate closely with internal Product Managers, Global Account Directors, and Business Unit general managers to deliver tailored interconnect proposals, custom solutions, and optimized pricing.

• Commercial Execution: Negotiate corporate commercial terms, pricing agreements, master supply agreements, and non-disclosure agreements directly with the key customer.

• Forecast Accuracy: Maintain highly accurate demand forecasting and capacity planning models for this account to guarantee flawless supply continuity.

Qualifications & Requirements

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Engineering, or a related technical field.

• Experience: 7+ years of progressive sales experience in the electronic components, interconnect, or semiconductor industry. Minimum of 3 years specifically focused on regional channel/distribution management alongside proven experience managing multi-million dollar OEM/Tier-1 key accounts.

• Market Knowledge: Deep understanding of the ASEAN electronics manufacturing ecosystem, distribution networks, and regional OEM landscapes.

• Business Acumen: Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex POS data, forecast demand, negotiate large-scale commercial contracts, and develop strategic buffer stock frameworks.

• Communication: Exceptional negotiation, presentation, and relationship-building skills. Fluency in English is required; additional regional languages are highly advantageous.

• Mobility: Willingness to travel frequently across the ASEAN region to conduct distribution business reviews and lead face-to-face strategic key account meetings.

Role Purpose

The Manager, Transport Planning & Business Improvement is responsible for optimising the deployment and utilisation of transportation resources across Crown Singapore's businesses, including Relocations, Workspace, Fine Art, Records Management and Asset Lifecycle Management.

The role will establish centralised visibility of transportation resources, improve planning effectiveness, reduce external trucking costs, and drive the transition from manual planning processes toward data-driven and digitally enabled transportation management.

The successful candidate must be capable of operating in an environment where planning is currently managed through spreadsheets and manual processes and be able to design and implement sustainable improvements.

Key Responsibilities

Transportation Resource Planning

• Manage planning and scheduling of transportation resources across all business units.
• Optimise allocation of:
  - Vehicles
  - Drivers
  - Transportation crews
  - Specialised equipment
  - External transportation providers
• Maximise utilisation of internal transportation resources.
• Reduce dependency on subcontracted transportation providers.
• Identify opportunities for resource sharing across business units.

Resource Visibility & Utilisation

• Develop and maintain a centralised resource planning framework.
• Establish visibility of:
  - Vehicle capacity
  - Vehicle utilisation
  - Driver utilisation
  - Route efficiency
  - External vendor usage
• Produce daily, weekly and monthly utilisation reports.
• Implement forecasting and capacity planning processes.

Business Improvement

• Review and document current planning processes.
• Identify inefficiencies and improvement opportunities.
• Standardise planning workflows.
• Introduce best-practice planning methodologies.
• Drive continuous improvement initiatives across transport operations.

Data, Reporting & Analytics

• Develop KPI reporting and operational dashboards.

  - External trucking spends
• Produce management reporting for senior leadership.

Digital Transformation

• Lead the transition from spreadsheet-based planning to a digital planning environment.
• Evaluate transportation management solutions and planning tools.
• Work with business stakeholders to define system requirements.
• Support implementation of future transportation management systems.
• Leverage Excel, Power BI, Power Automate and related technologies to drive automation.

Stakeholder Management

• Partner closely with managers across:

• Balance competing operational priorities.

Work you'll do:

This role sits within the SAP team of Deloitte Southeast Asia, which encompasses the SAP Module solutions respectively. As a leader of this group, you will drive the growth of our SAP business in the region and be responsible for the creation, sale and delivery of SAP solutions: Functional and Technical Design, SAP Application & Systems Development, SAP Business Transformation, etc.

• Engage clients in workshops and interviews to analyze process and reporting requirements
• Advise clients on industry/ cross-industry leading practices. Advise clients on SAP recommended processes and functions
• Design target state SAP solutions for clients. Influence clients’ thinking in adopting leading/ standard practices while developing target state
• Analyze application landscape to design interfaces to SAP solution 
• Perform SAP configuration and tests. Develop specifications for development of forms/ reports/ interfaces. 
• Lead the consultant and client teams through the implementation cycle including planning and execution of testing, migration and cutover. 
• Support change management execution by developing training material, delivering training and supporting users post cutover.

Requirements:

If you are someone with:

• A good honors Degree, preferably at postgraduate level, in Information Technology, Business Information Systems, Business, Engineering, Mathematics or related disciplines.
• Senior Manager will require a minimum of 15 years of experience in SAP Supply Chain / Logistics Modules, preferably with direct implementation exposure with EWM, Ariba; Completed at least several end to end full life cycle of SAP Supply Chain / Logistics implementations. Also have solid exposure in team leading experiences would be a mandatory
• Has experience in SAP S/4 HANA environment is a must; and have experiences in industry of Real Estate, Pharmaceutical, Life Sciences, Energy/Utilities, Retails would be preferable
• Demonstrated success in multi-cultural work environment.
• Sound understanding of business process, industry nuances and leading practices in area of focus
• Ability to facilitate effective workshops to lead target state design.
• Ability to lead teams
• Demonstrated excellence in conceiving and executing SAP solution
