Position Summary:

The Senior R&D Scientist will join the Advanced Analytics R&D team across Milpitas, California and Singapore. Introduction to The Centre for Precision Fermentation and Sustainability:

The Centre for Precision Fermentation and Sustainability (PreFerS) is a research program hosted by the Illinois Advanced Research Center at Singapore Ltd. (Illinois ARCS). The program aims to develop advanced fundamental sciences and technologies to implement fermentation-based production of foods and food ingredients, and also to enhance food security and sustainability in Singapore, particularly addressing the micronutrient food insecurity through precision fermentation.

About This Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated Postdoctoral Researcher to join our team in microbial synthetic biology and metabolic engineering. Our research focuses on designing and engineering microbial systems for applications in precision fermentation. This position provides an exciting opportunity to work on interdisciplinary research at the interface of microbial pathway engineering, metabolic regulation, and advanced analytical techniques.

Duties and Responsibilities:

(1) Conduct high-level research in synthetic biology and metabolic engineering, both independently and in collaboration with internal and external researchers.
