Job Description

We are seeking a responsible and detail-oriented Purchasing Assistant to support daily procurement activities and ensure smooth purchasing operations. The successful candidate will assist in supplier sourcing, purchase order processing, inventory monitoring, and maintaining cost-effective purchasing practices to support overall business operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist in daily purchasing and procurement activities
• Coordinate with suppliers and vendors regarding quotations, orders, pricing, and deliveries
• Process purchase orders and ensure timely follow-up with suppliers
• Maintain accurate purchasing records and documentation
• Monitor stock and inventory requirements
• Compare pricing and negotiate for cost-effective purchases
• Support administrative and operational purchasing functions
• Ensure smooth communication between internal departments and suppliers

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Procurement, or related field
• Minimum 2–3 years of working experience in purchasing or procurement
• Good communication and negotiation skills
• Able to communicate effectively in Mandarin, English, and Bahasa Malaysia to deal with china suppliers and partner.
• Able to multitask and work independently with minimum supervision
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook)
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Experience in supplier sourcing and vendor coordination is an added advantage

Physical Requirements

• Ability to perform sedentary office work, including extended periods of sitting
• Frequent use of computer, paperwork handling, and administrative coordination
• Occasional movement within the office or warehouse may be required to coordinate purchasing activities or verify goods

Job Description

Receive, inspect, and store incoming goods.

Pick, pack, and prepare orders for delivery.

Conduct stock checks and update inventory records.

Load/unload goods and maintain warehouse cleanliness.

Operate equipment like forklifts (if certified).

Prepare shipping documents.

Requirements:

Minimum SPM or equivalent.

1–2 years of warehouse experience (preferred).

Physically fit to lift heavy items (up to 20–30 kg).

Basic computer and communication skills.

Forklift license is a must.

Willing to work shifts and overtime.

Responsibilities:

• Source suppliers, request and evaluate quotations, and negotiate pricing and terms.
• Prepare and issue purchase orders (POs) based on internal requests and demand forecasts.
• Track order status, shipment progress, and ensure on-time delivery.
• Maintain accurate purchasing and inventory records in SQL Accounting System.
• Evaluate supplier performance and assist in qualification processes.
• Coordinate import/export documentation ( Form E, packing list, invoice, CoO).
• Support cost-saving initiatives and identify areas for procurement improvement.
• Communicate with internal departments to understand material requirements and lead times.

• Possess at least a Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or relevant field will be considered a plus.
