Job Description
To provide pre and post sales technical support for equipment distributed by BioLab. Responsibility include but not limited to performing equipment technical inspection and preventive maintenance, attending to equipment failure service calls, ensuring standard procedure in Service Department are followed and documentations updated and traceable.
Technical service support can be provided in the office through telephone and/or at customer site. Need to be independent, self-motivated and able to work under-pressure. Candidates should possess technical competency, communication skills, as well as technical analysis and problem- solving skills.
Qualifications/Skills required
- minimum Diploma in electrical, electronic or mechanical engineering from a recognized institution of education or 2 years relevant experience with a certificate from Institute of Technical Education(ITE)
- Relevant work experience related to our industry will be advantages
- Able to handle demanding and difficult customers
- Able to work independently with minimum supervision
- Possess intuitive and analytical mind
- Possess good communications skills and able to explain clearly the trouble-shooting process and problems identified
- Able to think out of box
- Able to take the lead and work well in a team
Other requirements
- Able and willingness to accept 24 hours standby on weekdays and weekends
- Able to travel overseas for product training
Training
- Product specific training on trouble-shooting and maintenance of the system organized by the product manufacturers
- On-the-job training guided by experienced engineers
