• Act as the primary liaison representing Deliver and Plan activities for the operations, between various stakeholders.

• Identify potential "blind spots" in the project delivery chain (e.g., budget overspend, infrastructure setup delays impacting shipping, service failures, etc) during the transition phase.

Job Description

We are looking for a Project Site Manager to manage and coordinate construction site activities in Singapore. The candidate will be responsible for daily site operations, manpower coordination, safety compliance, project progress monitoring, and communication with clients, consultants, subcontractors, and suppliers.

Key Responsibilities

* Manage and supervise daily site operations to ensure works are carried out safely, properly, and according to project schedule.

* Coordinate with project team, clients, consultants, subcontractors, suppliers, and workers.

* Monitor site progress, manpower deployment, material delivery, and work quality.

* Ensure site works comply with approved drawings, project specifications, safety requirements, and local regulations.

* Attend site meetings and prepare progress updates when required.

* Identify site issues and coordinate timely solutions with relevant parties.

* Ensure proper housekeeping, safety practices, and documentation are maintained on site.

* Assist in planning work sequences, site logistics, and resources required for project completion.

* Support the company in project handover, inspection, and completion documentation.

Requirements

* Diploma or equivalent qualification in Civil Engineering, Building Construction, Construction Management, or related field.

* Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in construction site management or project coordination.

* Good understanding of construction site operations, work sequencing, safety requirements, and project coordination.

* Able to read and understand construction drawings and technical documents.

* Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills.

* Able to work independently and under site pressure.

* Experience in Singapore construction projects will be an advantage.

* Knowledge of WSH requirements, risk assessment, permit-to-work, and site safety procedures will be an advantage.

* Able to work on site and travel to different project locations when required.

Working Hours

Monday to Saturday, subject to project and site requirements.

Project Manager is responsible for delivering the project on time, on budget, within scope, and within agreed quality standards.

The key responsibilities are:

• Manage the project to accomplish the goals, objectives, and success criteria identified and agreed to in the Project Charter

• Understands and utilizes the DePICT®methodology and tools to manage the project life-cycle

• Understands the customer's business needs and how the project relates to it

• Leads the project team; mentors individual project team members

• Works with the project team to ensure there is a single integrated plan for the delivery of the project that is agreed, realistic and achievable

• Identifies and allocates resources necessary to complete the project; Clearly communicates project team roles and responsibilities

• Manages and controls day-to-day aspects of the project including but not limited to the integrated project plan, resources, time, cost, scope and performance

• Uses the scope change management process to manage all changes to the project

• Develops and implements a communications plan for all stakeholders, including project status reporting.

• Facilitates Risk Identification, Assessment, & Response. Leads the Project Team towards continuous risk management

• Manages issues and escalates as appropriate

• Ensures the quality and content of all project deliverables

• Ensures that regular project team reviews of the status of plans, budgets, issues, risks and changes are conducted

• Coordinates activities and deliverables for all workstreams, working closely with the work stream leaders to execute successfully

• Ensures the project plan is base-lined to enable progress measurement against set criteria as well as impacts related to changes

• Assists in acquiring resources

• Works closely with, and advises, the Project Sponsor and Project Steering Committee (if one exists); Prepares periodic reports for the Steering Committee summarizing progress against the plan and any corrective actions needed to resolve deviations from plans

• Develops, implements and sustains effective quality management guidelines for the project

• Follows and is responsible for overall project governance
  

Requirements:

• Minimum Bachelor’s degree in related field

• Professional project management certification is a plus

• Possess 3 to 5 years of experience in logistics/supply chain and project management
