Job Summary

Lead the implementation and completion of construction projects by managing cost, time, quality, and site operations while ensuring safety, compliance, and effective stakeholder communication.

Responsibilities

• Manage construction projects to achieve completion within scheduled cost, time, and quality targets
• Plan daily construction site operations including cost control, shop drawing submission, and approval processes
• Supervise site teams to enforce safety standards and regulatory compliance
• Communicate clearly and proactively with clients, consultants, authorities, and sub-contractors to facilitate project progress

Required competencies and certifications

• Possess a Bachelor's Degree, Post Graduate Diploma, or Professional Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent

Preferred competencies and qualifications

• Have at least 2 years of experience working on General Building Construction Projects

Responsibilities:

•  Coordinated all MEP service works with main contractors and consultants.
•  Designed electrical and mechanical systems based on client and authority requirements.
•  Procured equipment based on authority and project requirements.
•  Conducted factory and in-house testing of equipment and switch boards.
•  Prepared shop drawing for authority approval.
•  Arranged and mobilized manpower based on the project requirements.
•  Conducted testing and commissioning of completed installation works.
• Coordinated all M&E service in high-rise building (Electrical/Plumbing & Sanitary/ACMV/
• LIFT/Fire protection/Security system/Waste management system/Modern irrigation system).
•  Prepared all M&E services for quality assessment based on Singapore building construction authority CONQUAS (Construction Quality Assessment System).
•  Carried out assessments systematically within the budgeted cost and time.
•  Measured workmanship standards and specifications of material using a sampling system.
•  Carried out assessments based on contract specification.
•  Ensured and witnessed factory performance tests of all M&E system major components such as electrical main distribution boards, switch gears standby generators, transformers and fire protection system control panels, before installation on site.

Requirements:

• Diploma / Degree in Mechanical / Electrical Engineering or equivalent
• At least 5 year(s) of working experience in MEPL / M&E / ACMV for Construction Sectors Contractor
• ACMV and Electrical experience is preferred
• Independent, diligent, meticulous and highly motivated with excellent team spirit.

The successful candidate will coordinate closely with internal teams to ensure projects are executed efficiently, on time, and in accordance with engineering requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and issue project quotations based on customer requirements, drawings, and specifications
• Follow up on projects upon confirmation, ensuring smooth handover from sales to operations
• Manage projects end-to-end, including:

• Material planning and ordering

  Preparation and control of route cards

  Coordination of production planning and scheduling

  Monitoring fabrication, machining, welding, and assembly processes

  Ensuring timely delivery of parts to customers

• Liaise with internal departments such as production, purchasing, and QA to resolve project-related issues
• Track project progress and ensure compliance with technical and quality requirements
• Support continuous improvement in project execution and workflow efficiency

Requirements / Qualifications

• NITEC or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering
• Minimum 3 years of relevant working experience in a manufacturing or engineering environment
• Able to read and understand engineering drawings, including welding symbols and machining details
• With experience in CNC machining and metal fabrication will be an added advantage
• Familiar with production processes, route cards, and material planning
• Good coordination, communication, and follow-up skills
• Able to work independently and manage multiple projects concurrently
