The successful candidate will manage and develop a team of firmware engineers, serve as a firmware component lead for Data Center SSD programs, and partner closely with firmware leadership and cross‑functional teams to drive execution, quality, and continuous improvement.

Manage and develop the Singapore‑based DC SSD Firmware Media Management (MM) team, including hiring, onboarding, performance management, coaching, and career development.
Drive continuous skill growth and technical depth across the team to meet current and future business needs.

Firmware Component Leadership
Serve as Firmware Component Lead for Media Management in Data Center SSD programs.
Own firmware component responsibilities including resource planning, scope definition, execution planning, and delivery tracking.
Ensure component designs and implementations meet product requirements, quality standards, and schedule commitments.
Program Execution & Delivery
Partner with SSD firmware project leads and cross‑functional engineering teams to support successful execution and on‑time delivery of firmware milestones.
Identify technical and execution risks early; drive mitigation plans and escalate appropriately.
Take on additional assignments as needed to support broader SSD Engineering Group objectives.
Process & Continuous Improvement
Collaborate with the Firmware Leadership Team to improve engineering processes, development efficiency, and product quality.
Promote best practices in firmware design, code quality, reviews, documentation, and knowledge sharing.
Collaboration & Communication
Foster strong teamwork and effective communication within the firmware organization and with global partners.
Build trusted working relationships with peer managers, technical leads, and stakeholders.
