Responsibilities

• Backup Operations & Administration
• Manage and monitor daily mainframe backup operations using CA 1.
• Ensure successful execution of scheduled backup jobs, troubleshoot failures, and perform root cause analysis.
• Validate backup logs, reports, and error messages to ensure compliance with SLAs.
• Resiliency & Disaster Recovery
• Support disaster recovery planning, testing, and execution for mainframe environments.
• Collaborate with infrastructure, storage, and DR teams to ensure systems can be restored within agreed RTO/RPO objectives.
• Maintain accurate documentation for backup/restore and DR procedures.
• Governance & Compliance
• Ensure compliance with organizational policies, regulatory standards, and data retention guidelines.
• Provide audit support related to backup and recovery controls.

Requirements

• 5+ years’ experience in mainframe backup operations.
• Hands-on expertise with CA 1 (Tape Management System), Tape operations, Tape life cycle management, Mainframe Backup using ADRDSSU, Flash copy
• Strong knowledge of mainframe infrastructure, storage management, and backup concepts.
• Experience with resiliency planning, DR testing, and recovery execution.
• Solid troubleshooting and problem-solving skills in backup and recovery scenarios.
• Familiarity with ITIL processes (Incident, Problem, Change Management).
• Ability to work in a 24x7 environment with on-call support as needed.
• Strong communication skills to collaborate across teams and present to stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

• As an Innovation and Applied-AI Engineer, you will proactively identify opportunities, experiment with new concepts, and drive them end-to-end, from ideation to real-world deployment, with a high degree of autonomy and creativity.
• You will design and build AI-driven software solutions, leveraging GenAI to enhance internal workflows and create new product capabilities, while prototyping and validating ideas through proofs of concept (POCs).
• You will continuously evaluate new AI and GenAI technologies, assessing their relevance and deciding whether to adopt, adapt, or discard them. This includes applying insights from research, experimenting with models, exploring agentic AI, and developing demo applications.
• You bring a strong software engineering foundation, with the ability to build end-to-end applications across front-end and back-end, and collaborate effectively within a distributed, multidisciplinary team in a dynamic and fast-evolving environment.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s, Master’s, or PhD in Computer Science (or equivalent)
• Software Engineers with electives or majors in AI/ML, deep learning, or agentic AI.
• 3-5 years of working experience is required.
• Proficiency in software development using one or more of JavaScript, Java, Swift, or Python.
• Solid background in AI/ML, with the ability to understand and apply AI theory to real-world problems, including GenAI adoption in daily practice and new product features.
• Strong analytical skills, with an interest in reading academic papers and translating research into practical, innovative solutions.
• Familiarity with full-stack development and rapid prototyping using frameworks such as Flask, FastAPI, or React.
• Familiarity with generative AI frameworks (e.g., Hugging Face, LangChain, OpenAI APIs) and agentic AI systems.
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP), CI/CD pipelines, and containerization tools.

What our Client is Looking For

• Responsible for critical facility operation of data centers.
• Responsible for managing the changes on critical systems, responding the emergent failure and tracking preventative maintenance.
• Responsible for capacity management of facility systems power and cooling.
• Manage availability risk of facility systems and drive the resolution.
• Drive and implement projects to improve the capacity, efficiency and reliability of current facility system.
• Support IT manager (IT) on their project and operations.
• Support design and project teams on new site/data-hall construction and commissioning.
• Establish performance benchmark, conduct analyses, and prepare reports on all aspects of the critical facility infrastructure operations and maintenance.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in engineering of electrical, mechanical or related field.
• 3+ years of critical facility management or operation experience in large scale data center or 5+ years large scale production facility management experience in large scale plant.
• Experience and knowledge of MEP equipment such as UPS, generator, Chiller, Pump, cooling tower, etc.
• Good sense of building and maintain a safety and high efficiency working environment in daily work.
• High attention to details to identify the risk and drive to resolve them.
