Position Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Network Security Engineer with Subject Matter Expert (SME)–level expertise in AlgoSec Security Management solutions. The ideal candidate will have expert-level hands-on experience with AlgoSec firewall automation and integration with multiple firewall platforms including Palo Alto, Check Point, Cisco FTD, and FortiGate. Responsibilities

• Lead the complete lifecycle of application development, encompassing frontend interfaces, backend systems, and cloud infrastructure.
• Design, build, deploy, and maintain highly scalable, secure, and performant web applications.
• Create responsive, accessible, and modular user interfaces utilizing modern frontend architectures.
• Develop robust backend services and orchestrate seamless system communication using standard protocols (e.g., REST, GraphQL, gRPC, WebSockets).
• Partner with QAand DevOps teams to drive automated testing, continuous integration/deployment(CI/CD), and infrastructure automation.
• Implement comprehensive security practices across all layers, including identity management (authN/authZ), API protection, and cloud security compliance.
• Continually enhance application performance, system observability, monitoring, and overall developer workflow efficiency.

Requirements

• Degree or Diploma in a technology-related discipline (Computer Science, IT, Engineering) combined with a minimum of 7 years of professional full-stack software engineering experience.
• Proven hands-on expertise in frontend and backend ecosystems, with strong proficiency in JavaScript, TypeScript, and modern web frameworks.
• Solid experience working with mainstream backend languages and frameworks (such as Node.js ecosystems, Ruby, Java/Spring, Python, .NET, or Go).
• Practical knowledge of version control (Git), deployment pipelines (CI/CD), cloud environments, containerization (Docker/Kubernetes), and Infrastructure as Code (IaC).
• Deep understanding of modern software engineering principles, including application security, automated testing, caching, logging, and performance tuning.
• Familiarity with any of the following is a plus: mobile development, design tools (Figma), APM solutions, micro-frontends, edge computing, or low-code platforms.

Position overview

The System Engineer is responsible for end-to-end system-level quality, integrating cross-functional components, and ensuring efficient issue resolution and continuous system improvement. This role bridges triage, development, and validation, evolving from issue handling to system ownership and optimization.

Role responsibilities

• System-Level Ownership

  • Own system behavior across modules (perception, planning, control, etc.)

  • Understand and manage cross-component dependencies and interfaces

• Advanced Triage & Root Cause Analysis

  • Lead complex issue investigations beyond surface-level triage

  • Drive root cause analysis across software, data, and system interactions

  • Ensure high-quality and timely resolution of critical issues

• Cross-Functional Coordination

  • Act as the central point between engineering, testing, and operations teams

  • Align priorities and drive resolution across multiple stakeholders

• System Quality & Process Improvement

  • Identify systemic issues and recurring patterns

  • Improve triage workflows, feedback loops, and system robustness

  • Propose and implement scalable solutions (not just case-by-case fixes)

• Data-Driven Decision Making

  • Use logs, metrics, and field data to diagnose issues and guide improvements

Required experience
