Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive test strategies, plans, and processes aligned with project requirements and business objectives.
• Lead, mentor, and manage a team of testers to ensure high productivity, quality, and motivation.
• Collaborate closely with the Project Manager, Software Manager, and stakeholders to clarify requirements and define the testing scope.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• At least 15 years of experience in software testing and quality assurance, with a minimum of 10 years in a managerial role leading end-to-end testing for large-scale projects in both Agile and Waterfall environments.
• Experience in large-scale project testing and commissioning, particularly in the transport or traffic management domain (especially enterprise-wide Traffic Management Systems), will be advantageous.
• Strong knowledge of the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies, including Agile and Waterfall.
• Hands-on experience with test management tools (e.g., JIRA, TestRail), automation tools (e.g., Selenium, UFT), and defect tracking systems.
• Proven experience in vendor or partner collaboration and effective stakeholder management.
• Strong expertise in test management practices and methodologies.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Responsibilities:

• Overall accountable and responsible for delivery of testing services one or more applications and/or projects of Digital domain applications

• Manage and oversee the day-to-day delivery of test services by Bank appointed vendors in the conduct of testing

• Works with the testing service providers and other stakeholders to review, provide feedback and sign off on the test strategy, test plans and other test service providers’ artefacts for the testing service delivery.

• Coordinates with the Test Governance team to ensure adoption of testing methods, standards and tools, and to coordinate any health checks or audits.

• Ensures that any changes to the scope of services are communicated to the respective test service providers and the impact is factored in to the plan.

• Engages with various stakeholders (including but not limited to, application, security, infrastructure, business), testing service providers to ensure testing services meet the objectives and demand.

• Act as the first point of escalation for any issues raised by stakeholders, testing service providers.

• Quantify, manage, track and report test related statuses, SLA and KPIs, and ensure that defined testing transformation SLA and KPI targets are met for the portfolio accountable.

• Drive and collaborate with all stakeholders and test service providers to plan all testing related deliveries for the portfolio accountable.

• Participate and contribute in forums, as required, to drive testing transformation and innovation.

• Works closely with the Test Engineering Lead to provide inputs around domain specific test engineering requirements and ensure that they are met.

• Establishes and maintains effective working relationships with the Vendor Test Managers/Test Leads for the respective domains.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree or Master’s degree in computer engineering or related field.

• Proven working experience in test delivery or equivalent role with at least 10 to 15 years relevant experience in large and complex organizations preferably in the area of Banking and Finance and at least 5 years’ senior manager experience in testing.

• Extensive experience in managing end to end delivery of testing services from multiple vendor test service providers.

• Proven experience in testing standards, tools, processes & methodologies, frameworks, and various delivery methodologies e.g. Agile, Hybrid Agile and Waterfall, DevOps.

• A proven, successful track record of managing shared IT service development and/ or IT Testing Services.

• Demonstrated success in developing highly effective working relationships with internal and external stakeholders to deliver collaboration, partnerships and services.

Your key responsibilities:

• Act as the key delivery partner for TDI (IT Infrastructure organisation) into GRE (the Global Real Estate organisation)

• Manage the regional portfolio of all the cross TDI delivery projects and programmes required to enable successfully delivery of the GRE APAC Global Real Estate portfolio (New office construction, major office moves, consolidation or exit of offices ) Feasibility, Due Diligence & Budgeting prior to new programme approval)

• Accountable for

  - Managing the Programme and project managers ( typically externals) delivering the programmes in the regional portfolio

  - Ensuring delivery is aligned to current and/or future TDI technology strategy

  - Management and escalation of issues and risk’s within TDI and the GRE business partner community

  - Effective communications and reporting of programme/projects to TDI & GRE senior management

  - Prepare and deliver Project Council & Steering Committee presentations

  - Providing control and transparency of the portfolio by ensuring adherence to TDI & GRE project methodology and governance.

  - Managing Budgets & Financials

  - Reviewing and preparing the TDI approach with the Project managers and the TDI Global leads for technical, financial and delivery activities.

  - Communication and engagement with GRE regional Business Partners, Project Sponsors, 3rd party suppliers as well as Business and CIO stake holders.

Your skills and experience:

• Minimum 5 years of delivering IT for Real Estate programmes in the financial services sector

• Overall IT project leadership responsibility for delivering all elements of IT for large scale real estate programmes.

• Minimum 10 years relevant Progamme and Project management experience managing IT Infrastructure integration and deployment projects regionally and/or globally - preferably in the financial services sector.

• Experience of relocation of Trading floors and live trading environments.

• Evidence of successfully delivering complex multi-year programmes
