We are dedicated to developing scalable, high-performance systems for automated trading, strategy research, and data-driven decision-making across global markets.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Define and lead the company’s overall technology strategy, aligning engineering initiatives with business growth objectives
2. Architect and oversee the development of a modular quantitative trading platform, including strategy engines, backtesting systems, execution engines, and risk management modules
3. Design and optimize high-performance, low-latency systems for real-time trading and market data processing
4. Lead the integration of AI/ML capabilities into trading strategies and data pipelines
5. Build and scale a high-performing engineering team across backend, frontend, data, and infrastructure
6. Establish engineering best practices, including system architecture, code standards, CI/CD, and DevOps processes
7. Oversee system reliability, scalability, and security, ensuring production-grade performance and uptime
8. Collaborate with business, product, and trading teams to translate requirements into technical solutions and deliverables
9. Manage technical roadmap, resource allocation, and project execution to ensure timely delivery
Requirements:
1. 10+ years of software engineering experience, with at least 3–5 years in senior technical leadership roles (Tech Lead / Architect / CTO)
2. Strong experience in building high-performance distributed systems, preferably in trading, fintech, or data-intensive platforms
3. Solid programming experience in at least one of the following:
o Java/C#
o Python (preferred for quant/AI)
o Rust / Go / C++ (preferred for performance-critical systems)
4. Experience designing low-latency systems, event-driven architectures, and real-time data pipelines
5. Strong understanding of quantitative trading systems, including backtesting, execution, and risk management (highly preferred)
6. Experience with AI/ML integration, data modeling, or large-scale data processing (e.g., feature engineering, model deployment)
7. Familiarity with cloud infrastructure and DevOps tools (e.g., AWS / GCP / Docker / Kubernetes)
8. Proven experience building and managing engineering teams, including hiring, mentoring, and scaling
9. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work in a fast-paced, startup-like environment
10. Fluent in English;
Preferred Qualifications (Nice to Have):
· Experience in quantitative finance, hedge funds, or trading platforms
· Familiarity with Web3 / blockchain infrastructure / DeFi systems
· Experience with high-frequency trading (HFT) or ultra-low latency systems
· Background in mathematics, computer science, or financial engineering
Salary & Benefits:
· SGD 10,000 – SGD 15,000 per month (depending on experience and background)
