Job Responsibilities:

The Vice President, IT Third Party Risk Management (“TPRM”) is a senior leadership role responsible for leading the IT TPRM team and overseeing the end-to-end IT third-party risk management framework across the System Office of Asia (ASO). The role supports ASO in executing robust, consistent, and compliant IT TPRM processes covering the full lifecycle of IT third parties.

In addition, this role acts as the IT Third Party Portfolio Lead for ASO, responsible for managing, coordinating, and overseeing the overall portfolio of IT-related third parties. Overview 

The Trading and Market Strategies team is the central trading desk for Goldman Sachs Asset Management (GSAM) and executes cash equities, listed & OTC derivatives across global asset classes for portfolio managers throughout the Asset Management Division. This is a global desk with a presence in New York and Singapore. Specifically, this person will focus on our Fundamental Equity (“FE”), Quantitative Investment Strategies ( QIS ) and other portfolio managers in GSAM. Our platform provides institutional clients with investment opportunities around the world via a wide variety of financial instruments & strategies.

Key Responsibilities 

• Execute stocks, ETFs, futures, FX, NDF and OTC derivatives (options, interest rate swap & total return swap etc) on behalf of Portfolio Managers.
• Work closely with the investment teams to develop and optimize implementation strategies.
• Provide market color to constituents around the division.
• Conduct and pre and post trade cost analysis for the team to ensure a detailed understanding of trading activity.
• Develop and maintain counterparty relationships.
• Lead or assist in various engineering or research initiatives for Portfolio Managers and the trading desk.
• Execute trades using a combination of high-touch & low touch methods.
• Ad hoc project work, client engagement such as trading demo/presentation as required by client servicing teams.
• Day to day administrative tasks, liaison with Operations & Engineering team, in support of trading activities. 

Qualifications 

• Minimum 2 years of trading experience on sell or buyside, dealing in multiple assets class.
• A strong interest in understanding the markets with relevant experience.

As a Level 1 Trading and IT Support Engineer, you will be the first point of contact for technical assistance within the organisation and for our customers, with a focus on supporting the fast-paced trading floor environment. Your role will involve providing prompt and efficient support to end-users, resolving issues related to hardware, software, and network systems, and ensuring minimal downtime for trading operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Respond to incoming technical requests or enquiries via phone or ticketing system
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and network issues at a basic level
• Provide step-by-step guidance to end-users in troubleshooting and resolving technical problems
• Escalate complex issues to Level 2 support or other relevant teams as necessary
• Document, triage and track all support tickets, resolutions, and follow-up actions in the ticketing system
• Incident handling in terms of notification and updates to stakeholders as well as escalations within IT organization to resolve incidents
• Monitor the health of all systems and infrastructure
• Monitor and verify the successful completion of end-of-day data processing and reporting activities, addressing any issues that arise promptly
• Assist in setting up and configuring desktops, laptops, phones, trading terminals, printers, and other peripheral devices
• Administration of trading platforms
• Liaise with platform vendors for enhancements and upgrades

Requirements:

• Diploma in Information Technology/ Degree in Computer Studies
• CompTIA A+ certification will be a plus point
• 3 years of experience in IT desktop support
• Experience supporting financial trading platforms such as FIS Valdi, Bloomberg terminals, CQG Desktop, TT Futures will be advantageous
• Proven experience in a helpdesk or customer support role is preferred
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Willing to work on shift rotations and on public holidays
