We are seeking a Senior Business Analyst with deep functional expertise in Trade Finance and Supply Chain Finance (SCF) to lead requirements, solutioning and functional delivery on global product builds and bank implementations. Lead the customer acquisition, ongoing engagement and retention efforts of the assigned Serial Entrepreneurs portfolio

Work with relevant cross-functional stakeholders (including Trade, Regional, Treasury, Wealth, Insurance, Customer Services) to offer solutions propositions to fulfill the Serial Entrepreneurs’ requirements for their group of multiple companies

Pitch Credit Propositions with accuracy, in a well-organized manner supported with sufficient depth of financial analysis, business and credit risk assessment.

Manage existing Serial Entrepreneur Group relationships with timely escalation of credit deterioration

Active participation in strategic initiatives to grow the wallet share

Requirements

Minimum 3 years of experience in Financial Institutions (customer acquisition, engagement, credit analyst etc)

Articulate communicator with high customer-focused attitude to engage key promoters of SMEs in the various banking and beyond banking solutions

Strong collaborative team player with ability to foster trust and rapport with team members and product partners 

Results oriented and driven with the ability to succeed in a dynamic culture

Ability to present and write credit cases with clarity and precision

Highly analytical, methodical and structured in thought approach to problem solving

Job Description:

• In charge of recording and allocating incoming customer payments accurately in the accounting system.
• Prepare, process, and send invoices to customers in a timely manner
• In charge of managing billing activities, collections, and prepare AR reports according to required deadlines.
• In charge of performing reconciliations for customer accounts and bank statements.
• Handle GIRO deduction arrangements and reconcile related transactions.
• Responsible in processing payment receipts and arrange bank deposits.
• Responsible in reviewing payment differences and work with customers to resolve discrepancies or billing issues
• Assist with month-end closing tasks related to Accounts Receivable.
• Respond to queries from the cross functional department

Requirements:

• Min Diploma in Accounting, Finance or related discipline
• Minimum 3 years of working experience in Accounts Receivable
• Experience with ERP systems such as Microsoft Dynamics 365 or Esker is preferred

Key Responsibilities

• Issue office cheques, client cheques, and cashier orders accurately and in a timely manner
• Process payments for both office and client accounts
• Prepare and issue office receipts and maintain proper documentation
• Perform data updates and data entry into internal systems with high accuracy
• Maintain proper records and filing of financial and administrative documents
• Support file closing processes, ensuring all required documentation and transactions are completed
• Ensure all transactions comply with internal controls, policies, and relevant regulations
• Assist in maintaining clear audit trails and supporting documentation

Requirements

• Min. Nitec qualification in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field
• Prior experience in finance administration, accounting support, or similar roles preferred
• Strong attention to detail and high level of accuracy
• Basic proficiency in accounting or administrative systems and Microsoft Office
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
