Work you’ll do

GL Operations/Management/Statutory Reporting

• Oversee financial accounting, reporting, general ledger, fixed assets, audit, and tax to ensure accuracy and compliance.

About the Role

The Role:

As Senior Associate, Credit Risk Operations, you will be conducting credit risk reviews of Airwallex’s clients within a team environment. Key Responsibilities

• Advising on a broad range of banking and finance transactions, including corporate lending, acquisition finance and general financing matters

• Drafting, reviewing and negotiating finance and transaction documentation

• Supporting due diligence processes and coordinating multi-jurisdictional workstreams

• Working closely with partners and senior lawyers on transaction execution and client delivery

• Assisting with client development, knowledge sharing and internal know-how initiatives

• Exploring opportunities to leverage AI and legal technology to improve efficiency and ways of working

To be successful in this role, you will have:

• Qualification as a lawyer with 4–7 years’ PQE in banking and finance

• Proficient in Microsoft Office suite.

Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Associate to join our Operations team. This role is responsible for supporting trade settlement activities, account reconciliations, and operational process enhancements to ensure efficient and accurate transaction processing across the business.

Key Responsibilities

• Process trade-related payments and receipts across various financial products in a timely and accurate manner.
• Perform daily and periodic reconciliations of client and internal accounts to ensure data integrity and compliance with operational standards.
• Investigate and resolve transaction discrepancies, working closely with internal stakeholders and external counterparties where necessary.
• Support operational projects, including system enhancements, process automation, and transformation initiatives aimed at improving efficiency and controls.
