Design, develop, and optimize active thermalcontrol systems, including pumped fluid loops, cold plates, and heatexchangers, to meet performance and reliability requirements.
Perform thermal and flow analysis usingSolidWorks Flow Simulation and SolidWorks Simulation to validate designs andsupport product development.
Support prototyping, testing, and validation ofthermal systems, including the use of thermal sensors, heaters, TECs, andthermal interface materials.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams todefine thermal requirements, interpret basic control logic, and ensuremanufacturability through precision fabrication or additive manufacturingmethods.
Troubleshoot thermal performance issues anddrive continuous improvement for applications in semiconductor, space, defence,or other high-precision engineering environments.
Requirements:
Degree in Mechanical / Thermal Engineering or equivalent
3+ years experience in active thermal control systems (pumped fluid loops, cold plates, heat exchangers)
Proficiency in SolidWorks Flow Simulation + SolidWorks Simulation
Able to interpret and specify basic control logic (no full coding required, but scripting in Python/MATLAB is a plus)
Knowledge of thermal test platforms, thermal sensors, heaters, TEC, thermal interface materials (TIM)
Knowledge of space/defence/semiconductor thermal requirements
Knowledge within the semiconductor testing solution will be highly preferred
Familiar with fluid selection (dielectric coolants, glycols, PFAS-free alternatives)
Familiar with precision fabrication such as CNC Milling & lathe machining
Experience with SINDA/FLUINT or GT-SUITE would be a plus point
Knowledge of prototyping using precision fabrication and/or additive manufacturing.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Good written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency in SolidWorks will be a must
Eligibility to work and relocate in Singapore will be a plus

An experience professional with hands-on background in semiconductor manufacturing in fields like thermal system, advanced packaging, wafer level and final testing, test equipment and tooling.
New product design and/or improvision to meet customer requirements or to solve a technology or process problem. Realization is achieved through integration of multiple disciplines of knowhow.
Support Institutionalization of innovation process from ideation to commercialization with cadences of reviews and reports required to make product innovation structured and progress traceable.
Continuously identify to create product-to-market and new application opportunities by keeping abreast of market trends and development and customer roadmaps. This requires working on business case, financial, and business viability.
Engage with internal and external stakeholders in product marketing for a successful product-to-market campaign and program.
Support budgeting and other processes deemed necessary for operations and business sustainability and improvement.
Requirements
Degree qualification in Engineering/Science or related discipline with at least 10 years of relevant experience preferably from Semiconductor.
Experience in semiconductor manufacturing in fields like thermal system, advanced packaging, wafer level and final testing, test equipment and tooling.
Knowledge in mechanical and electrical/electronics design for semiconductor solutions will be good skill sets to succeed in this role. Direct experience in semiconductor testing equipment and system will be highly preferred skills.
Deep understanding of how technology changes in semiconductor leading to advanced packaging and in turn given rise to the need of more innovative solutions towards semiconductor process equipment in general and testing in particular.
Proven experience is product innovation with patents/IP creation will be an added advantage.
Experience in new product design / improvision and to bringing new products to the market, with familiarity in using design tools and software.
Strong analytical skills with creative thinking and solutioning leveraged on knowledge of market trends, leading technologies and industry practices.
Exposure to international and regional customers and stakeholders.
Willingness to travel on short and long notices or as required by the business.
Excellent communication and presentation skills with stakeholders of diverse backgrounds.
Strong communication skills to effectively engage internal and external stakeholders in English; proficiency in additional regional languages is an advantage.
