Responsibilities:

• Lead the design and development of interactive 3D visualization interfaces using Unity 3D, including real-time digital twin dashboards and OT operational views.
• Architect and implement geospatial rendering systems - integrating map layers, coordinate systems and spatial data into Unity-based frontends.
• Design and deliver seamless integration between Unity frontend components and backend systems, middleware, IoT/OT data pipelines, and REST/WebSocket APIs.
• Collaborate with IoT, OT, and robotics engineering teams to translate telemetry, sensor, and asset data into real-time 3D visualisation.
• Drive technical decisions around rendering performance, level-of-detail (LOD) strategies, shader optimisation, and scene management for large-scale operational environments.
• Build and maintain reusable UI component libraries within Unity, aligned to UX guidelines and design system standards.
• Define and enforce frontend engineering standards, coding conventions, and review practices
• Engage with product owners, systems architects, and client stakeholders to ensure frontend solutions meet functional and non-functional requirements.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipeline integration for build artefacts, automated testing, and deployment workflows.

Experience & Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years of software engineering experience, with at least 3 years focused on Unity 3D development in a production environment.
• Demonstrated delivery of Digital Twin or 3D visualisation solutions for operational, industrial, or smart city domains.
• Understanding of IOT integrations such as OPC-UA, Modbus, MQTT, - Middleware integration and BMS integration
• Understanding of Command and Control (C3) systems.
• Hands-on experience integrating real-time IoT/OT sensor data into interactive 3D or geospatial frontends.
• Track record as a subject matter expert - driving architecture decisions, conducting code reviews, and managing delivery risk.
• Strong understanding of systems engineering principles; able to design frontend components with awareness of full-stack integration constraints.
• Bachelor's degree or higher in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Geospatial Science, or equivalent discipline.
• - Comfort using AI to accelerate coding, testing, validation is a must.

Role Overview

Join the Software Engineering team on a physical Operations Technology (OT) integration project. You will build and maintain the backend systems that connect OT field devices to the digital twin platform — handling real-time data ingestion, protocol translation, and system integration across industrial communication standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain backend services and middleware for OT/IoT data ingestion using OPC-UA, MODBUS, and MQTT protocols.
• Build data pipeline components that normalise, process, and route telemetry from field devices to platform services and 3D visualisation layers.
• Integrate AI coding tools (e.g. Claude, Copilot) into daily development workflows for code generation, unit testing, and validation — this is an expected practice, not optional.
• Write and maintain automated test suites covering protocol adapters, data transformation logic, and integration endpoints.
• Collaborate with frontend Unity engineers and systems architects to define and implement API contracts (REST/WebSocket).
• Participate in code reviews, contribute to technical documentation, and support deployment through CI/CD pipelines.
• Troubleshoot field connectivity and protocol issues; work with OT/hardware teams on device commissioning and debugging.

Must-Have Requirements

• Hands-on experience with OPC-UA, MODBUS, and MQTT — protocol implementation, not just conceptual familiarity.
• Proficiency in backend development (Python, Node.js, Go, or Java — at least one).
• Active use of AI tools for coding, testing, and validation in prior roles or personal projects.
• Experience writing integration and unit tests; familiarity with test automation frameworks.
• Comfortable working with message brokers (MQTT brokers, Kafka, or similar) and time-series or event-driven data.

Good to Have

• Exposure to digital twin platforms or industrial IoT stacks.
• Familiarity with OT security considerations (network segmentation, secure protocol configuration).
• Experience with containerisation (Docker/Kubernetes) and CI/CD tooling.
• Knowledge of BACnet, DNP3, or other industrial protocols.

Experience:

2–5 years in backend or systems software engineering, with at least some exposure to OT/IoT environments. Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or equivalent practical experience.

Windows on Arm Validation technician

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for performing computer hardware and software maintenance, troubleshooting, testing and reporting. The ideal candidate will have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a strong background in computer hardware and software.

This position has a 24 months contract term, and will be annually reviewed.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Support WOA Validation Engineering team for testing and validation
• Perform basic computer setup and maintenance, including computer disassembly and assembly, WOA installation and driver installation/upgrade, BIOS flash/upgrade
• Run testing and perform issue troubleshooting and reporting
• Conduct reported issue reproduction and validation, collect and analyse test logs, generic triage & debug
• Complete all test requests on time and communicate revised schedules as necessary
• Utilize software tools such as bug tracking tools, databases, and others as required
• Submit bugs into tracking tools and accurately classify severity levels
• Perform ad-hoc testing on new software and firmware components and assist in developing test plans
• Understand/modify/develop and execute simple scripts using Python or other programming languages
• Provide periodic updates and feedback testing status or improvements proposal to test plans
• Work on multiple projects or tasks and complete them on schedule
