About the role

Key responsibilities

Parent Communication & Enquiries

Manage and support the development of student recruitment efforts in Singapore for the institute by promoting the SIM brand-name and planning student recruitment strategies for PG market. Facilitate all applications (local and international) processing to ensure prompt processing by the Admission Department.

Student Recruitment Operations

· To work with the Lead/Deputy Lead, Local Engagement, to manage and support the development of local student recruitment efforts for the institute by promoting the SIM brand-name and planning local student recruitment strategies.

· To supervise and guide the team to ensure operational needs and goals of the department are met (e.g. operations roster, compliance to policies and processes).

· To provide timely training and coaching to team members on a regular basis so as to achieve a high standard of service to customers.

· To attend to customers’ enquiries via walk-ins, phone, email, live chat during peak periods.

·Relay market knowledge: Monitor the state of the education market and competitor's performance, structure and share this knowledge with the team and the business

Leads Management

·Leverage data: Monitor key performance metrics on all steps of the sales conversion funnel and take action on this data, while constantly expanding and refining best practices.

· To provide analysis of leads follow-up reports and suggest areas for improvement.

Corporate Engagement – Postgraduate and Part-time Market

·Support the analysis of market trends in the local education landscape and assist in implementing student recruitment strategies.

·Assist in the planning, coordination, and execution of corporate engagement and outreach activities.

·Contribute ideas and support initiatives to enhance engagement and increase postgraduate and part-time programme applications.

·Support outreach to corporate partners and assist in maintaining relationships for recruitment collaborations.

JOB REQUIREMENTS

Academic Education and Work Experience

·Bachelor degree with 5-8 years of relevant working experience, preferably in sales, marketing or customer service

·Experienced in planning and executing recruitment events, school talks, open houses, and outreach campaigns.

·Experienced in Customer Service and Sales conversion processes

·Experienced in leading and training a small team

·Experienced in student recruitment within Singapore education landscape.

·Strong network and experience working with schools and education partners in Singapore

·Strong stakeholder management skills, including collaboration with internal departments, academic partners, and external vendors.

• Work onsite and attend industry partner meetings
• Support the general management and administration of centre operations (e.g., organise meetings, recording meeting minutes)
• Manage project timeline and ensure project milestones/ deliverables are met
• Support all related administrative work
• Perform literature reviews, assist with designing and conducting of qualitative and/or quantitative research tasks (e.g., focus group discussions, interviews, surveys), and perform dataprocessing and analysis tasks
• Develop project processes and procedures, and maintain related documentations
• Conduct impact analysis against pre-determined project outcomes
• Prepare progress and final reports of the project for reporting to management, as well as for publication
• Present research outputs at seminars, meetings, workshops

Job Requirements
Degree holder, preferably in the field of behavioural science, social science, human resource, or business

• At least 1 year of working in a research setting
• Responsible and reliable

To provide information and advisory services to prospective students (and their parents/guardians) and ensure that the students are well informed on the choices of programmes offered and the application procedures.  To drive sales conversion to support SIM’s market share in Singapore.

ACCOUNTABILITIES

Student Recruitment Operations

• To work with the Lead/Deputy Lead, Local Engagement, to manage and support the development of local student recruitment efforts for the institute by promoting the SIM brand name and planning local student recruitment strategies.
• To attend to customers’ enquiries via walk-ins, phone, email, live chat, etc and look into the customer’s needs and requirements so as to recommend suitable education pathway
• To assist customers in programme application and checking for documentation to support the turnaround time for admissions processing
• To build strong product knowledge, comply with work policies and procedures and continuously improve customer service skills
• To comply with quality standards set for the department

Leads Management

• To follow up on all leads assigned on a timely basis
• To prepare and maintain lead follow-up reports

Job Responsibilities

Meetings, Projects & Events Administration

• Coordinate with the Faculty Leadership Development (FLD) team to plan and schedule meetings, projects and events.

• Have good understanding of campus calendars to coordinate meetings, projects and events effectively.

• Prepare AORs, project documentation and necessary paperwork to support processes and approvals.

• Ensure end-to-end administrative processes including attendance, invitations and documentation, to support the full lifecycle of meetings, projects and events.

Stakeholder Communication & Coordination

• Build and maintain effective working relationships with full-time and adjunct faculty within NIEC.

• Coordinate meetings, prepare agendas, and follow up on action items.

• Engage proactively with internal and external stakeholders to maintain clear, timely and consistent communication.

Content Development & Communications

• Prepare professional written materials, including emails, reports, meeting minutes, SOPs and publicity content.

• Support the development of communication materials using appropriate design and digital tools.

Data & Resource Management

• Maintain and update faculty repositories, information sites and data systems.

• Support basic data analysis and reporting where required.

• Willingness to adopt new technologies and innovative approaches to create, curate and enhance learning and research resources.

Job Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Early Childhood, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field.

• Relevant experience in project administration and stakeholder coordination will be advantageous.

• Ability to organise, manage, and analyse data effectively.

• Familiarity with the early childhood education sector is beneficial but not required.

• Strong organisational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.

• Good written and verbal communication skills.

• Proficiency in digital tools such as Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), Outlook, and virtual collaboration platforms (e.g. Zoom, MS Teams).
