Job Description: 

• Round-the-clock monitoring and maintenance of the System (hardware and software) to ensure system uptime in accordance to SLA commitments
• Respond to all incident / service calls and be first responder onsite to troubleshoot and resolve incidents including basic repairs or parts replacements
• Create / update and track ticket in ticketing tool to closure observing SLA commitments
• Escalate, when necessary, in accordance to escalation matrix
• Perform regular preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshooting system hardware and all computer-based systems.
• Coordinate and work with third-party suppliers or other contractors to identify the causes of issues e.g. hardware, software, network problems and etc. that may affect the proper functioning of the System.
• Liaise and work closely with customers to address service concerns and to solve technical problems.
• Work with technical team to resolve more advanced issues when necessary
• Perform Install / Move / Add / Change (IMAC) activities as tasked
• Ensure all material is properly documented and handed over during shift changes
• Perform any ad-hoc duties as assigned
• Build sustainable relationships and engage customers by taking the extra mile

Requirements:

• Diploma or Higher NITEC in Electrical Engineering, Electronics, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
• 1–2 years of relevant experience in system monitoring, operations support, or a similar environment.
• Experience in a monitoring center or operations support role is preferred.
• Basic knowledge of networking and database management is advantageous.
• Exposure to electrical/mechanical drawings, service manuals, or technical documentation is an added advantage.
• Airport operations experience will be an advantage.
• Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently as well as within a team.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and interact with stakeholders at all levels

Working hours

• Rotating 12 hours shift or as assigned.
• Shift pattern: 3 Days work shift followed by 2 days’ rest, 2 Days work shift followed by 3 days’ rest
• 2 Months Day shift, followed by 2 months night shift

Reporting locations: Woodlands, ability to travel to other sites during shift may be required 

Compensation:
Fixed Basic Monthly Salary: $3,200 to $3,700 per month maximum & offer will be made depending on the skills & experience level

Role Overview:
Deskside Administrator shall deliver friendly, hands‑on support to end users. This is an entry‑level role where he/she will respond to incidents and service requests, troubleshoot common hardware and software problems, assist with device setup/imaging and lifecycle activities, and perform basic user administration tasks (password resets, access requests) following established SOPs. He/She will escalate complex issues to senior staff, help maintain asset records, update simple documentation, and communicate clearly with users and team members to ensure timely resolution.

Key Responsibilities:
1) End-User Support

• Provide basic deskside and onsite support for desktops, laptops, printers, and peripherals
• Respond to IT incidents and service requests logged via the service desk system
• Troubleshoot common hardware and software issues under guidance
• Support Microsoft Windows operating systems and standard office applications
• Escalate unresolved issues to senior engineers or specialist teams

2) Device Setup & Maintenance

• Assist with setup, installation, and replacement of end-user devices
• Support device imaging and configuration following standard procedures
• Help maintain IT asset records and inventory tracking
• Assist with user onboarding and offboarding activities

3) User Administration

• Support basic user account activities such as password resets and access requests
• Follow defined IT security and access procedures

4) Documentation & Operations

• Follow standard operating procedures (SOPs) and support guidelines
• Assist in updating user guides and basic documentation

5) Customer Service

• Provide friendly, professional, and responsive support to users
• Communicate clearly with users on issue progress and resolution
• Work collaboratively with IT team members

Requirements:

• ITE or Diploma in Information Technology or related discipline
• Preferably 2 years of experience in IT support or helpdesk role (fresh graduates welcome)
• Internship or school project experience in IT support is an advantage
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Windows 10 / 11
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office applications
• Understanding of desktop and laptop hardware
• Basic knowledge of printers and connectivity issues

End User Support & IT Operations

• Provide Level 1 and Level 2 technical support for end users, including troubleshooting hardware, software, network, email, and system-related issues.
• Install, configure, test, and maintain employee workstations, laptops, mobile devices, telephones, printers, projectors, access control devices, and other I! peripherals.
• Maintain IT asset inventory, software licenses, standard desktop images, and conduct regular asset audits.

Microsoft 365 & User Lifecycle Management

• Manage Microsoft 365 environment, including setup, configuration, administration, and ongoing maintenance.
• Support employee onboarding and offboarding activities by coordinating with HR on account creation, access provisioning, equipment preparation, email setup, and account deactivation.
• Manage and maintain corporate email systems, Teams, OneDrive, and other Microsoft collaboration platforms.

SharePoint, Intranet & Collaboration Platforms

• Manage and maintain the company's SharePoint environment, corporate intranet, shared folders, and departmental collaboration sites.
• Support business users in document management, access control, workflow configuration, and collaboration platform enhancements.
• Ensure proper governance, permissions management, and data organization across collaboration platforms.

Network & Infrastructure Administration

• Monitor, maintain, and troubleshoot office network infrastructure, including switches, routers, firewalls, wireless access points, VPN solutions, and server room equipment.
• Perform regular network health checks, identify performance bottlenecks, and ensure network availability, stability, and security.

Vendor Management & IT Procurement

• Liaise with external vendors, service providers, and telecommunications partners (e.g., Singtel) for IT infrastructure, internet connectivity, maintenance services, and project implementations.
• Coordinate procurement, deployment, and lifecycle management of laptops, IT hardware, software licenses,

IT Projects

• Participate in IT infrastructure projects, system upgrades, and office expansion or relocation initiatives.
• Coordinate relocation of IT equipment, network infrastructure, server room facilities, internet services, and end-user devices.

Systems Administration & Process Improvement

• Maintain the daily operation of business systems, including email, file sharing, collaboration tools, and authentication platforms.
• Develop, review, and maintain operational procedures, technical documentation, user guides, and disaster recovery plans.
• Serve as the administrator for WeCom (Corporate Communication Platforms) & others

Stakeholder Management & Reporting

• Work closely with HR, Finance, Operations, and business departments to understand IT requirements and deliver suitable technology solutions.
