Your Role

You will be responsible for the planning, coordination, and delivery of construction programs across APAC for mission-critical facilities. This includes managing full builds, fit-outs, upgrades, and infrastructure works. You will oversee budgets, schedules, quality, safety, and stakeholder alignment to ensure successful project execution and handover to operations teams.

What You’ll Do

• Lead construction delivery from project inception through completion and handover

• Implement and enforce a strong safety culture and ensure compliance with HSSE standards

• Develop and manage project budgets, schedules, and resource plans

• Coordinate with stakeholders, contractors, and vendors to define project goals and execution strategy

• Oversee procurement, contractor selection, negotiation, and contract management

• Manage construction documents, change orders, and project closeout documentation

• Identify and implement value engineering and cost-saving opportunities

• Track project performance, risks, and issues; implement mitigation plans

• Provide regular project updates and maintain strong stakeholder communication

What You’ll Need

About the Role

Exceptional Chief Operating Officer to lead data centre operations and drive construction and engineering excellence across Southeast Asia. This strategic leadership position will be instrumental in scaling our data centre network and operational capabilities during an exciting period of regional expansion.

As COO, you will oversee all internal operations, manage complex infrastructure environments, and lead high-performing teams to deliver world-class data centre facilities that meet the growing demand for digital infrastructure in the region.

Requirements

• Proven track record of successfully delivering data centre construction projects, including both new-build and renovation projects
• Strong technical expertise in data centre infrastructure, including: Electrical power systems and distribution HVAC and cooling systems
• Deep knowledge of MEP systems and hyperscale data centre standards
• Demonstrated experience managing large operational budgets and P&L responsibility
• Direct Liquid Cooling (DLC) technologies, AI-optimized data centre environments, IT infrastructure and network systems

Preferred Qualifications

• Professional certifications in data centre management (e.g., CDCP, CDCS, CDCE)
• Certifications in facilities management or IT infrastructure (e.g., CFM, ITIL)

The Opportunity

A global owner-operator of mission-critical infrastructure is seeking a Regional Commissioning Director to lead commissioning strategy and execution across its Asia Pacific portfolio.

This role is designed for a senior commissioning leader ready to transition from project-level delivery into regional ownership, setting standards, improving repeatability, and driving long-term operational efficiency across multiple large-scale developments.

You will work closely with development, engineering, delivery, and operations teams to ensure consistent, high-quality commissioning outcomes across diverse regulatory and technical environments.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead regional commissioning strategy for large, mission-critical facilities across APAC

• Manage internal commissioning teams and external consultants across multiple countries

• Establish and govern commissioning standards, methodologies, and best practices

• Oversee commissioning planning, sequencing, and execution for complex, multi-phase developments

• Drive continuous improvement initiatives to enhance delivery efficiency and reduce risk
