Regional Market Director / Head of Business Development

Key Responsibilities

1. Lead the development and execution of the overall regional market strategy, defining the direction of market growth
2. Establish and maintain long-term relationships with key clients, including universities, consulting firms, main contractors, and specialized subcontractors
3. Lead commercial negotiations for major projects and manage strategic key accounts
4. Oversee regional project sourcing and integrate market resources to build a sustainable project pipeline
5. Coordinate internal teams across design, engineering, procurement, and commercial functions to drive project signing and execution
6. Build and develop the regional market team, including talent pipeline and succession planning
7. Provide regular updates to senior management on regional market performance, expansion progress, and strategic plans

Requirements

1. Bachelor’s degree or above in Marketing, Engineering, or a related field
2. Minimum 10 years of relevant market/business development experience in the industry, with strong local market exposure, industry reputation, and client network
3. Proven track record in commercial negotiations and resource integration
4. Strong understanding of regional market dynamics and engineering/construction industry operations
5. Strong strategic thinking and team leadership capabilities
