Job Scope:
Workplace Health & Safety, Security

• Assist in developing and maintaining policies, procedures, and risk management processes.
• Perform scheduled inspections and audits to ensure compliance with statutory requirements and internal standards.
• Manage and coordinate all incident reporting, investigation, and close-out with relevant stakeholders.
• Serve as the appointed Fire Safety Manager (FSM Role) and execute duties in compliance with the Fire Safety Act and CERT Regulations.
• Prepare and manage WHSE Committee meetings and working groups (e.g, WHS, Sustainability, Emergency Preparedness).
• Support regulatory compliance relating to WHS, Fire Safety, environmental obligations, and internal audit (e.g, ISOs) requirements.

Sustainability Operations

• Lead the University’s sustainability operations, ensuring alignment with long-term estate development and regulatory requirements.
• Oversee utilities performance and key environmental indicators, providing direction on improvement measures and long-term optimisation.
• Responsible for the timely preparation and quality assurance of the annual sustainability report (ensuring accuracy and data integrity).
• Serve as the primary Point of Contact (POC) for sustainability reporting at Committee-Level.
• Develop and deliver sustainability training to staff and students.
• Provide guidance and technical support to the team members and departments to ensure consistent application of sustainability requirements.

Operations (Coordination & Oversight)

• Coordinate operation-related activities to ensure offices and classrooms remain safe, compliant, and operational.
• Liaise with external service providers and vendors on routine servicing and workplace support matters.
• Monitor service delivery standards and ensure contractual requirements are met.
• Maintain records related to inspections, vendor servicing, and compliance documentation.

Others

• Prepare presentations for management meetings.
• Organize departmental records to ensure information is easily accessible.

Job Description

• Manage and monitor all financial aspects including but not limited to budget & cost control of Projects assigned and ensure project runs within budget
• Prepare procurement list and schedule according to Architect specification and project schedule.
• Source, liaise, compile, and evaluate quotations from respective subcontractors according to requirements, specification, and time schedules including drafting of Subcontract Documents.
• Record all defects of works, ensure proper documentation for all variation orders and others.
• Ensure timely submission of VO cost on day to day or weekly basis and communicate with project manager; timely submission of monthly progress claims; final account closing.
• Evaluate all VO claims from sub-contractors and ensure all the variation orders are carried out in order & according to proper procedure.
• Effective follow up on payment certificate to sub-contractors and payment advice to client
• Prepare tender submissions, handle progress claims/payments, VO & finalize projects

Job Requirement

• Diploma/Degree in Quantity Surveyor
• Min 5-years experience in Quantity Surveying or experience in landed house project(s).
• Familiar with various high-end materials used for luxury house.
• Able to communicate and liaise with Chinese-speaking associate.
• Good communication skills and ability to work independently under minimal supervision, good knowledge in local standards & requirements.

Main Responsibilities

Requirements:

REQUIREMENTS / QUALIFICATIONS

- Degree or Diploma in Building, Quantity Surveying or equivalent

- Computer literate, Microsoft office

- Excellent oral and written communication skills with proficiency in English

Job Responsibilities :

• Prepare bill of quantities for tendering of subcontract packages including sourcing out of subcontractors/suppliers
• Handle contract negotiations with subcontractors/suppliers and prepare subcontract agreement

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and manage measurements and cost estimates for construction projects, from initial calculations to final accounts.
• Prepare tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities.
• Evaluate tenders from contractors and subcontractors, and negotiate where necessary.
• Perform quantity take-offs and prepare cost estimates for projects and tender submissions.
• Review and interpret C&S, Architectural, and M&E drawings.
