Key Responsibilities
Prepare Bills of Quantities (BOQ), cost estimates and quotations based on construction drawings, specifications, and site requirements
Maintain proper measurement records and supporting documentation
Request, evaluate and negotiate supplier/subcontractor quotations
Identify cost risks and propose value engineering options
Establish and maintain professional relationships with site managers, clients, contractors, and subcontractors;
Providing full assistance and support to the Company’s Projects team
Review tender conditions and prepare tender submissions
Prepare and submit monthly progress claims to main contractors / clients
Verify subcontractor claims and ensure accuracy
Contract administration such as review contract terms, manage variation orders, additional works and claims
Ensure timely billing and collection
Prepare and negotiate final accounts with clients and subcontractors
Any other duties as may be required by the Company.
Requirement
Diploma/Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering, Building, or related field
2–5 years of experience in construction industry (preferred)
Ability to read construction/structural drawings
Strong communication and negotiation skills
Knowledge of construction contracts
Good negotiation and commercial awareness
Detail-oriented with strong documentation skills
Ability to work under pressure and manage multiple projects
