Key Responsibilities

• Drive the Project development for automotive MCU products from Planning to MP (Mass Production) phase on schedule.
• Collaborate closely across multiple departments such as Customers, Software Teams, Marketing, Engineering, Finance, Sales and Vendors/Suppliers during project development phase.
• Deploy best Program Management Practices: Bottoms-up planning, Dependency mapping, Critical path analysis and Risk mitigation using industry standard planning tools such as MS-Project for Project planning and execution.
• Monitor the Project development progress and report the status on a regular basis and escalate issues whenever needed. Also provide regular Project updates to the Senior Management.
• Co-ordinate and Conduct Project Gate reviews.
• Take personal accountability to drive the projects and deliver them on schedule. Ensure proper project meeting cadence is in place and with regular follow-ups on ALL Action Items to resolve any open issues.
• Support Program Manager and project team in all organizational activities during the project development.

The Digital Architect is responsible for designing, governing, and delivering scalable digital solutions that support manufacturing, operational technology, data platforms, and enterprise integration initiatives. The role partners closely with business stakeholders, IT teams, enterprise architecture groups, and implementation partners to ensure alignment with global digital strategies, architectural standards, and operational priorities.

Key Responsibilities

Solution Design & Architecture (40%)

• Partner with business stakeholders and IT teams to capture, analyse, and document business and technical requirements for digital solutions.
• Design, review, and govern solution architectures across integration platforms, data ecosystems, operational technology, and manufacturing environments.
• Develop and maintain architecture blueprints, technical standards, solution roadmaps, and design documentation.
• Ensure all proposed solutions align with global GMS ZTD strategy, enterprise architecture principles, and technology standards.

Project Delivery & Execution (30%)

• Lead end to end delivery of digital projects, including planning, design, development oversight, testing, deployment, and release management across manufacturing, OT, data, and analytics domains.
• Coordinate effectively with onsite and offshore delivery teams, external vendors, and implementation partners to ensure timely execution.
• Prepare and maintain project documentation, governance artefacts, status reporting, and executive updates.

Technical Leadership & Support (20%)

• Provide technical guidance to engineering and delivery teams for issue resolution, system optimisation, and continuous improvement.
• Ensure solutions comply with cybersecurity, regulatory, and enterprise best practice requirements.
• Support digital transformation programmes by identifying improvement opportunities and recommending suitable technologies.

Demand Management & Enterprise Architecture Governance (10%)

• Support demand intake processes, project prioritisation, and enterprise architecture governance activities.
• Participate in enterprise architecture review boards (EARB) and architecture governance forums to evaluate and approve solution designs.

Organisational Interfaces

• Collaborate closely with site IT teams including Solution Engineering, Integration, OT, and Data Fabric teams.
• Partner with global business stakeholders, IT partners, and enterprise architecture teams.
• Coordinate with offshore and onsite technical teams, external vendors, and implementation partners.
• Engage with enterprise architecture governance bodies for design reviews and approvals.
• Work alongside manufacturing, supply chain, and analytics teams to support digital initiatives across operational environments.

Required

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related discipline.

Preferred

• Certification in enterprise architecture frameworks such as TOGAF or equivalent.

Experience

• Minimum 10 years of experience in solution architecture, domain engineering, or technical architecture roles.
• Strong experience in manufacturing technology environments including MES, LES, OT systems, data platforms, and integration solutions.
• Proven background in global cross functional delivery environments.
• Experience in regulated industries such as pharmaceuticals is highly desirable.
• Exposure to GxP compliant environments preferred.

Technical Competencies

Required

• Strong expertise in solution architecture, system integration, and data platform design.
• Solid understanding of manufacturing technologies including MES, LES, and OT systems.
• Hands on knowledge of data integration patterns, ETL/ELT processes, APIs, and cloud platforms.
• Strong documentation, stakeholder communication, and technical presentation skills.

Preferred

• Exposure to analytics platforms and AI/ML enablement initiatives.
• Familiarity with enterprise architecture governance and frameworks.
• Understanding of pharmaceutical compliance standards and regulated manufacturing environments.

The OT/IT Integration Architect is responsible for leading the architecture, integration, and delivery of digital systems that connect operational technology environments with enterprise IT platforms. The role focuses on enabling secure, scalable, and compliant data flows across SCADA, MES, historians, and enterprise platforms using modern industrial integration patterns, unified namespace principles, and cloud enabled architectures.

The position plays a critical role in digital transformation initiatives across manufacturing environments by establishing robust integration standards, governing industrial data models, and ensuring interoperability between plant systems and enterprise applications.

Core Responsibilities

Architecture & Integration Design

• Design and lead end to end OT to IT integration architectures across batch and streaming data environments connecting SCADA, MES, historians, and enterprise or cloud platforms.
• Architect secure and scalable integrations across on premises and cloud ecosystems including Microsoft Azure, Amazon AWS, and Google GCP.
• Apply Unified Namespace principles and industrial architecture standards based on ISA 95 and ISA 88 frameworks.
• Define industrial data models, metadata structures, and governance principles to ensure consistency, traceability, and scalability.

Industrial Platform Connectivity

• Integrate industrial platforms such as Ignition, HiveMQ, and HighByte Intelligence Hub where applicable.
• Design and govern integrations using industrial communication protocols including OPC UA, MQTT, BACnet, and Modbus.
• Develop and oversee APIs and connectors for enterprise systems including SAP, SCADA, MES, LIMS, and historian platforms.
• Experience with Azure Event Hubs and Azure Event Grid is considered an advantage.

Architecture Governance & Enterprise Standards

• Establish and promote application, integration, and infrastructure standards across enterprise and manufacturing environments.
• Lead architecture decisions supporting enterprise IT modernisation and digital transformation programmes in regulated production environments.
• Ensure architecture designs comply with cybersecurity, governance, and regulatory requirements.

Platform Reliability & Data Engineering

• Support deployment and operation of enterprise applications with focus on reliability, compliance, and operational stability.
• Design solutions for scalability, resilience, and cost optimisation across hybrid environments.
• Perform schema design, optimisation, and performance tuning across SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Govern data quality, lineage, security by design, and enterprise data lifecycle principles.

Documentation & Delivery Enablement

• Produce and maintain architecture artefacts including diagrams, process flows, sequence models, and technical specifications.
• Provide technical leadership and guidance to cross functional delivery teams across project lifecycles.

Preferred Industry Experience

• Proven experience in manufacturing, industrial automation, or life sciences environments with strong OT and IT interoperability exposure.
• Familiarity with regulated manufacturing environments and GxP aligned data handling practices.
• Experience with enterprise data governance and controlled industrial data flows is highly desirable.
