The position is based in Tokyo, Japan. As Esports Manager APAC North, your mission will be to develop and maintain all aspects of the Rainbow Six Siege esports ecosystem in Japan & South Korea. You will collaborate with regional esports experts as well as the local marketing and communication specialists.

 

Responsibilities: 

  • Maintain & improve local language coverage for the APAC North R6, Majors and the Six Invitational. 

  • Develop and maintain local esports programs, such as T2 programs, events and local grassroots activities in connection with the global R6 circuit.

  • Act as local point of contact for non-English speaking esports organizations (From T1 to Grassroots].

  • Source and contract local tournament operators and partners to conduct activities in the market as needed. 

  • Utilize local expert market knowledge to support R6 esports globally. 

  • Develop local co-streaming and broadcast strategies under guidance of regional brand and product managers to increase APAC North ecosystem visibility.

  • Collaborate with regional esports product and brand managers to promote regional and global initiatives through social media and all local communication channels. 

  • Localize regional and global esports products to reach the Japanese and Korean communities. 

  • Provide local expertise to the global Esports teams for events in their territory, including venue sourcing, local sponsorship opportunities, ticketing and more.

  • Provide regular market updates about FPS and esports activities in South Korea and Japan. . 

  • Support, promote and improve Ubisoft owned grassroots tournaments to engage the APAC North communities. 

  • Develop initiatives to promote co-streaming of Ubisoft competitions in Japan and Korea.
