This role supports the recruitment process by assisting with candidate sourcing, coordinating interviews, and helping ensure a smooth experience for applicants. The Recruitment Assistant will work closely with the hiring team and support day-to-day recruitment activities.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist with drafting and updating job descriptions for open roles.
• Post job advertisements on job portals and other recruitment platforms.
• Search for and identify potential candidates using job portals and other sourcing tools.
• Screen applications and organise candidate information for the hiring team.
• Support communication with candidates throughout the application process.
• Coordinate interview schedules between candidates and hiring managers.
• Maintain and update recruitment records and candidate databases.
• Assist with general recruitment administration and documentation.

Skills and Experience

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field (or relevant experience).
• Some experience in recruitment, HR administration, or coordination roles is preferred.
• Good organisational skills and attention to detail.
• Clear and professional communication skills.
• Comfortable using job portals and basic office software.
• Reliable, proactive, and able to manage multiple tasks.

Job Timings (Non-negotiable)

• 44 Hours Per Week
• On-site (no remote working)
• Monday - Thursday: 11:30 am - 07:30 pm
• Saturday and Sunday: 09:30 am - 06:30 pm
• Lunch Break: 01:30 pm - 02:30 pm

Overtime

Employees who work more than the stipulated working hours on any day will be paid for any additional hour worked at 1.5 times their hourly basic rate of pay.

Public Holidays

• The Centre will remain closed on all public holidays EXCEPT Labour Day and Vesak Day. The board examinations are held in May/June and we are duty bound to our students to remain open on these two public holidays to assist them in their final examination preparation.
• Employees who work on Public Holidays (9:30AM - 6:30PM) will receive twice their basic rate of pay for work on that day.

Leave Policy

• Annual leave : 18 days
• Birthday Leave: 1 day
• Family Care Leave : 2 days (the above unused leave will be encashed at the end of the year)
• Medical leave: 14 days
• Hospitalisation Leave : 60 days (includes 14 days of medical leave) Unused leaves will lapsed at the end of the year
• Maternity leave :16 weeks (For Singapore Citizens) 8 weeks (For others)
• Paternity leave :2 weeks (If employee has worked for 3 continuous months and child is a Singapore Citizen) For Others, as per mutual agreement between employee and employer.
• Childcare Leave :6 days (if child is less than 7 years, and a Singapore Citizen) 2 days (if child is less than 7 years, for others, as per Employment Act)
• Compassionate Leave: 3 days (can be availed only once in a year)

Insurance

• General Physician (GP) : No Co-Pay (Panel Clinic)
• Specialist (SPL) : $2000 per calendar year (No Panel)
• Hospitalisation (Hosp) : $60000 Annual (Govt Restr, 4 bedded Ward)
• Dental Plan (DP) : $1000 per calendar year, 10% Co-Pay (No Panel)

Key Responsibilities

1. Customer Consultations & Sales

• Greet walk-in customers and provide a warm, consultative experience to understand their health, medical, or lifestyle needs.

• Conduct live, engaging demonstrations of BUZUD products (e.g., explaining how a CGM sensor tracks glucose levels or how to read metrics on an ECG smart ring).

• Meet and exceed individual and store sales targets by proactively cross-selling complementary health accessories or wellness packages.

2. Showroom Experience & Customer Support

• Maintain an immaculate, welcoming, and premium environment on the showroom floor in line with BUZUD’s brand standards.

• Assist existing customers with troubleshooting, basic technical support, or product calibration queries.

• Handle cash/cashless transactions accurately using the Point-of-Sale (POS) system and process product warranties or exchanges efficiently.

3. Inventory & Operations

• Monitor stock levels on the retail floor and assist in replenishing inventory from the store stockroom.

• Participate in regular stock takes, inventory audits, and ensure all display units are fully charged, functional, and clean.

• Provide feedback from customers to the management team regarding product demand, common queries, or potential areas for improvement.

Requirements & Qualifications

• Experience: 1 to 3 years of retail sales, hospitality, or customer service experience. Experience in health supplements, consumer electronics, or beauty/wellness retail is a major advantage.

• Tech Savviness: Comfortable learning, operating, and explaining mobile apps and health-tech hardware to customers of varying tech backgrounds (especially the elderly).

• Support B2B marketing activities including campaigns, events, and promotional initiatives.
• Conduct market and competitor research to support business development strategies.
• Identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement to support business planning.

Requirements:

• Degree in Business, Marketing or equivalent
• Knowledgeable in Excel, Power BI, SAP, or similar systems.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
