ABOUT THE ROLE

We are looking for an experienced and accomplished Technical Director to join the Singapore Disability Sports Council (SDSC) — at a pivotal moment for Singapore para sport. With ambitious Los Angeles 2028 and Brisbane 2032 Paralympic Games targets on the horizon, this role offers a rare opportunity to shape the Para Swimming elite programme from the ground up and deliver results on both a home stage and the world stage.

The Technical Director serves as the senior technical authority and Lead Coach Developer for Para Swimming. You will lead the design and oversight of a world-class high performance programme, drive the integration of evidence-based coaching and sport science, and build Singapore’s Para Swimming coaching capability from development level through to elite. You will also contribute to athlete pathway and talent pipeline activities, working closely with the High Performance Manager across the full performance continuum.

A key outcome of this role is to grow the number of high-performance para swimmers capable of succeeding for Singapore — both by developing the existing squad to its highest potential and by building a well-structured pipeline of athletes from community participation through to national squad.

KEY DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES

Technical Programme Leadership

• Lead and implement a world-class individualised high performance programme, grounded in innovative, evidence-based coaching, sport science, and sport medicine practices.
• Develop and maintain quadrennial and annual Performance and Pathway Plans, including detailed plans for identified athletes and clear benchmarks aligned to major Games cycles.
• Establish and maintain Daily Training Environment (DTE) standards that support elite athlete development, progression, and performance.
• Drive the integration of sport science, sport medicine, strength and conditioning, and sports psychology into training design and competition preparation.
• Set, monitor, and review KPIs for the national squad, benchmarking progress against multi-year targets and international competitors.
• Develop and implement selection criteria and measurable performance standards, including squad entry, retention, and Games selection benchmarks.

Athlete Development & Support

• Provide technical oversight of individual athlete programmes, ensuring training plans are evidence-based, athlete-centred, and aligned with each athlete’s classification, event, and impairment profile.
• Oversee athlete well-being, actively contributing to a positive, inclusive, and safe sporting environment and culture.
• Support athlete classification processes: advise the High Performance Manager on classification status and liaise with international classifiers to ensure athletes are competition-ready.
• Play an active role in talent identification and transfer for Para Swimming: apply classification knowledge and sport-specific technical expertise to assess individuals with para sport potential, advise on sport class suitability and impairment-to-sport matching, and work with the High Performance Manager and SDSC’s Talent Identification function to build and sustain a strong athlete pipeline.
• Lead the implementation of the Long-Term Para Athlete Development (LTPAD) model, establishing development benchmarks, defining athlete transition criteria, and ensuring the talent pipeline is well-structured and regularly reviewed.

Coach Development (Lead Coach Developer)

• Design and implement a structured coaching development framework for Para Swimming, from community level through to elite.
• Provide mentorship, technical guidance, and performance feedback to Head Coaches and programme coaches, elevating coaching standards and building sustainable coaching capability within Singapore.
• Organise and lead workshops, on-deck/trackside/court-side training sessions, seminars, and certification opportunities covering Para Swimming-specific techniques, classification, sport science application, and evidence-based programme design.
• Lead the sharing of knowledge, experience, and expertise across all coaches and practitioners within the national programme.
• Develop a transparent coaching pathway that supports talent identification, coach retention, and long-term programme sustainability.

Competition and Major Games

• Provide technical leadership and coaching presence at major international competitions and training camps, including ASEAN Para Games, Asian Para Games, Paralympic Games, and relevant World Championships and World Para Swimming World Series events.
• Contribute to competition strategy, event selection, and team delegation composition for major championships.
• Advise on sport-specific equipment preparation and requirements for competition.

Stakeholder Engagement

• Build and maintain strong collaborative relationships with World Para Swimming and other relevant bodies, staying current on technical developments, rule changes, classification updates, and best practice.
• Represent SDSC at technical forums, international federation meetings, and coaching conferences.
• Work with the High Performance Manager and Pathway and Performance Director to contribute to programme reports, strategic plans, and budget proposals.

CANDIDATE REQUIREMENTS

Qualifications & Experience

• An internationally recognised coaching qualification or demonstrated and successful track record of coaching para athletes, across multiple classifications, at the highest level to medal success at Paralympic Games and/or World Para Swimming Championships.
• Additional qualifications or expertise in sport science or performance analysis are advantageous.
• Minimum 8 years of high performance coaching or technical leadership experience in aquatics, including significant experience at the international para swimming level.
• Deep working knowledge of World Para Swimming classification systems across all sport classes, technical rules, competition formats, and international competition calendars including the World Series.
• Proven ability to design and deliver integrated, evidence-based performance programmes that incorporate sport science, sport medicine, and holistic athlete development.
• Demonstrated experience and cultural competence in engaging and developing coaches at the high performance level.
• Track record of contributing to programme growth — developing athletes from earlier stages of the pathway into national squad-level competitors.
• Strong knowledge of para athlete development frameworks and WADA anti-doping regulations.

Job Summary

The Director of Finance is responsible for safeguarding the financial integrity, stability and performance of COMO Hotels and Resorts. The role ensures the accuracy and integrity of financial reporting, drives financial planning and analysis, strengthens internal controls, oversees treasury and cash flow management, and partners with hotel operations to improve profitability and business performance.

Working closely with Property Financial Controllers/Director of Finance, General Managers and Corporate Leadership, the Director of Finance provides strategic financial guidance and operational support to achieve the Group’s financial objectives. The position acts as a deputy to the Vice President Finance on key financial and operational matters, supports hotel openings and corporate initiatives, and drives finance process improvements to promote consistency, compliance and operational excellence across the Group.

Key Responsibilities:

1. Financial Reporting, Accounting & Consolidation

• Oversee the preparation, review and consolidation of monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements for all properties, subsidiaries and corporate entities.

• Ensure timely and accurate financial reporting in accordance with IFRS, company policies, statutory requirements and regulatory standards.

• Review monthly management accounts, balance sheet reconciliations, journal entries and financial performance reports.

• Analyse financial results and provide meaningful commentary on key business drivers, risks, opportunities and performance trends.

• Prepare executive-level financial reports and presentations for the Vice President Finance, Executive Committee, Board and ownership.

• Ensure proper maintenance, safeguarding and retention of accounting records and financial information.

2. Financial Planning, Budgeting & Forecasting

• Conduct financial modelling, scenario analysis and business case evaluations to support strategic decisions.

3. Operational Finance & Business Partnership

• Partner with hotel operations teams to improve financial and operational performance.

• Analyse key hospitality performance indicators including RevPAR, ADR, Occupancy, GOP and EBITDA.

• Support operational decision-making through financial analysis and commercial insights.

• Conduct periodic reviews of property financial performance, operational effectiveness and compliance with Group standards.

• Provide finance expertise, coaching and guidance to hotel finance teams, corporate finance team and department heads.

4. Treasury, Cashflow & Working Capital Management

• Oversee Group cashflow planning, liquidity management and funding requirements.

• Monitor working capital performance and optimise cash utilisation across the portfolio.

• Review property cashflow forecasts and funding needs.

• Ensure timely collection of receivables, including management fees and reimbursable expenses, and effective management of payables.

• Support banking relationships, financing arrangements and covenant compliance.

• Identify financial risks and escalate significant issues to senior management.

5. Internal Controls, Compliance & Governance

• Ensure implementation and consistent application of Group Finance Policies, Standard Operating Procedures and governance standards.

• Maintain robust internal control frameworks to safeguard Group assets and financial integrity.

• Monitor compliance with statutory, regulatory, tax and audit requirements across all jurisdictions.

• Review corporate tax computations and tax filings and coordinate responses to tax authorities.

• Coordinate internal and external audits and ensure timely resolution of audit findings.

• Review and strengthen finance processes, systems and controls to enhance efficiency and mitigate risk.

• Liaise with overseas advisors, agents and auditors to ensure local and overseas statutory compliance.

6. Capital Expenditure, Asset Management & Hotel Openings

• Review and evaluate capital expenditure proposals, investment business cases and asset enhancement projects.

• Ensure compliance with approved capital approval processes and investment policies.

• Monitor capital expenditure against approved budgets.

• Support pre-opening hotels and ensure compliance with Hotel Management Agreements, local regulations, USALI requirements and brand standards.

• Verify that pre-opening requirements are fulfilled, including permits, licences, insurance coverage, bank account set-up, settlement of pre-opening costs and funding of operating accounts.

• Monitor compliance with FF&E reserve and owner-related financial obligations where applicable.

7. Leadership, Team Development & Stakeholder Management

• Lead, coach and develop the corporate finance team and support development of property finance leaders.

• Foster collaboration, accountability, knowledge sharing and continuous improvement.

• Build strong working relationships with operational and corporate stakeholders.

8. Strategic Projects & Corporate Support

• Act as a trusted advisor to the Vice President Finance and operational leadership.

• Serve as delegate to the Vice President Finance during periods of absence.

• Perform any additional duties reasonably assigned by management.

Job Requirements:

Education& Professional Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration or related discipline.

• Professional accounting qualification such as CPA, CA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent preferred.

• CFA qualification would be an advantage.

Experience

•       Minimum 10 years of progressive finance experience.

•       At least 8 years within hospitality finance, including significant exposure to hotel operations.

•       Experience in a multi-property, regional or corporate hospitality finance environment.

•       Previous experience as Director of Finance, Cluster Director of Finance, Senior Finance Manager or equivalent leadership role preferred.

•       Experience supporting luxury hotel or resort operations is highly desirable.

•       Experience managing multi-country entities, statutory compliance and corporate reporting.

Technical Competencies

The Role

We are seeking a proactive leader to partner with Rates & FX PMs across Asia-Pacific, driving business management, PM onboarding, business analytics, and cross-functional initiatives. This role combines strategic planning, operational execution, and data-driven insights toop timize performance, enhance efficiency, and support growth across the Asia Macro & Fixed Income platform. This person will act as the day-to-day business manager for Schonfeld's Macro & Fixed Income platform in Asia, covering Singapore, Hong Kong, and any future APAC locations. This role reports into the COO of DMFI.

What You'll Do

Business Management

·      Act as a partner to Rates &FX PMs across Asia-Pacific, translating investment goals into resourcing, capital, and infrastructure plans.

·      Develop and own the business plans for various strategic growth initiatives and PM builds in the region.

·      Continuously analyze desk P&L, risk, liquidity, funding and balance-sheet usage; recommend actions to enhance returns and capital efficiency.

·      Identify new product or market opportunities specific to Asia (e.g., CNH/CNY markets, Asian NDF flows, local government bond markets, SGD/HKD/KRW/INR derivatives) and drive approval /launch.

·      Leverage AI and automation tools to streamline reporting, surface actionable insights, and enhance decision-making speed.

·      Navigate Asia-specific regulatory environments and ensure business operations remain compliant.

PM Onboarding & Lifecycle Management

·      Lead onboarding of new Macro/Fixed Income PM teams in Asia: capital allocation sizing, risk limits, market-data entitlements, trading-system connectivity, and broker relationships.

·      Coordinate pre-launch testing, market data, and trading integrations for newly on-boarded PMs across Asian time zones.

·      Serve as escalation point and "trusted advisor" to existing PMs for any trading, infrastructure or counterparty issues.

Business & Performance Analytics

·      Design dashboards on KPIs and business metrics; present insights to PMs and senior management.

·      Lead cost/benefit cases for data, analytics and technology spend; track realized savings and ROI.

·      Deploy AI/ML-driven analytics to identify patterns in performance, risk, and cost data that inform strategic decisions.

Cross-Functional Leadership

·      Lead strategic, cross-functional projects across operations, treasury, compliance, and technology—owning end-to-end delivery and change management.

·      Run high-priority, cross-desk projects (e.g., Asia CCP onboarding, FX TCA implementation, intraday risk enhancements, local clearing mandates).

·      Coordinate with Legal / Treasury on ISDA, CSA, give-ups and clearing mandates to support trading strategies across Asian jurisdictions.

·      Collaborate closely with the North America and EMEA regional leads to ensure consistency of processes and best-practice sharing.

Vendor & Data Management

·      Own the vendor lifecycle for trading and analytics platforms in Asia (contract negotiation, SLA governance, ongoing performance reviews).

·      Stay abreast of emerging data/analytics and AI vendors in macro and fixed income and evaluate fit for the platform.

·      Champion adoption of AI-powered tools (e.g., LLMs for research synthesis, NLP for news/sentiment, GenAI for workflow automation).

What You'll Bring

·      7-10+ years in business management / COO, product or trading-related role on the buy-side (hedge fund, asset manager) or sell-side fixed income business. Strong preference for candidates that have already been in broad business management roles within hedge fund platforms.

·      Deep product knowledge across rates and FX cash & derivatives: government bonds, swaps, futures, options, swaptions, NDFs, forwards, cross-currency swaps, with strong knowledge of Asian rate and FX markets (CNH, SGD, KRW, INR, THB, etc.).

·      Strong grasp of pricing, valuation, risk, funding & liquidity, margin and capital usage.

·      Familiarity with Asia-specific regulatory frameworks (MAS, SFC, HKMA, JFSA) and local market conventions.

·      Fluency with trading technologies: order & execution-management systems, market-data feeds.

·      Advanced analytical toolkit—Excel/ VBA a must; Python, SQL or PowerBI strongly preferred.

·      Hands-on experience with AI/ML tools and frameworks; demonstrated ability to apply generative AI, LLMs, or automation to business processes, analytics, or operational workflows.

·      Proven ability to negotiate commercial terms with banks, venues and data providers.

·      Exceptional project-management, prioritization and stakeholder-influencing skills; comfortable presenting to senior management.

Job description

The Company is currently applying for a Licensed Fund Management Company (LFMC) license with the Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS), covering two business lines: Private Equity / Venture Capital (PE/VC) and External Asset Management (EAM). The EAM line will also require Exempt Financial Adviser (EFA) status, covering the following underlying assets:

• Collective Investment Schemes (including ETFs)

• Securities

• Exchange-Traded Derivatives Contracts

• OTC Derivatives Contracts

• Spot FX Contracts

• Structured Deposits
  

Key Responsibilities

• Support the company's LFMC and EFA license applications, including coordination of application materials, business plan development, and regulatory correspondence with MAS.

• Build and operationalize the company's internal framework for fund management, PE/VC, and EAM/wealth management activities, including client onboarding, investment advisory workflow, and operational controls.

• Work closely with the CEO, Board, Responsible Officers, compliance team, and external advisors (legal counsel, compliance consultants, fund administrators, auditors, custodians) on all licensing and governance matters.

• Support business development and day-to-day operational execution across both the PE/VC and EAM lines.

• Ensure all business operations remain aligned with MAS regulatory expectations and the company's internal governance standards on an ongoing basis.

• Contribute directly to the credibility of the LFMC application by virtue of relevant prior experience (see Candidate Profile below).

Mandatory Requirements

1. Direct experience in a business that provides investment advice to clients and/or conducts discretionary investment management on behalf of clients. This is the core requirement. Acceptable backgrounds include investment advisory, wealth management, investment consultancy, wealth solutions, discretionary portfolio management, private banking, or fund management — terminology varies by institution, so candidates should be assessed on substance (did the business advise clients on, or manage, investments) rather than exact job title.

2. That experience must cover one or more of the underlying asset classes listed above (CIS/ETFs, securities, exchange-traded derivatives, OTC derivatives, spot FX, structured deposits). Broader coverage across these asset classes is preferred.

3. The candidate's previous employer for the relevant experience would preferably be a licensed or regulated financial institution under MAS or an equivalent regulator in another jurisdiction. The candidate does not need to have held a CEO, Director, or Responsible Officer (RO) title personally, but the employing entity itself is supposed to hold the relevant license or regulatory status. Experience at an unregulated business does not satisfy this requirement.

4. Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in a managerial capacity; 10+ years strongly preferred.
