Job Description
·      Participate in interviews and initial assessment of prospective students with learning needs, particularly in regards to English as Additional Language, as require
·      Initiate appropriate assessment and testing ofchildren referred by Class Teachers via the Vice-Principal and/or the Princ
·      Work closely with the Principal and the Vice-Principal to plan, deliver, monitor, assess and develop the EAL programme in EtonHouse
·      Liaise with Class Teachers in assessing and monitoring children’s progress.
·      Work closely with teachers, Vice-Principal ,Principal and any specialists to develop an individual education plan if require
·      Collaborate with staff in long term planning.
·      Take corporate responsibility for displays throughout the school.
·      Share management and delivery of assemblies.
·      Offer and receive advice and guidance on issues which affect the whole school’s performance and ethos.
·      Share your expertise.
·      Participate in appraisal procedures and in-service training that provide personal, professional and career development.
Qualification
·      Bachelor of Education or higher from an accredited institution
·      Minimum of 5 years teaching experience
·      Commitment to working in an educational environment that offers academic rigour and excellence in teaching
·      Excellent written and verbal communication skills
·      Sensitivity toward cultural diversities
·      Ability to build community through positive interactions with parents
·      Self motivated with a high energy level
