Aboutthe Role
This is ahands-on role that blends business analysis with frontline support,troubleshooting, and project delivery. We’re looking for a capable,self-sufficient Business Analyst who can sit close to the people they support,understand what they actually need, and see problems through to a properresolution.
It’s avaried role for someone who likes solving problems quickly, works well on theirown, and is comfortable moving between a requirements workshop, a trickysupport issue, and a project plan in the same day. We also want someone whoalready puts AI to work, since it’s becoming a bigger part of how the teamtroubleshoots, automates, and supports its users.
WhatYou’ll Do
• Bea first point of contact for the people you support, diagnosing issues quicklyand giving clear, practical guidance.
• Worksupport and engineering problems end to end, from initial triage through to thefix, escalating when you need to and following up so nothing falls through thecracks.
• Runcore business analysis: gathering requirements, mapping processes, analyzingstakeholders, and taking changes through UAT.
• Planand run projects: scope the work, set a realistic timeline, track progress, andkeep everyone informed as things move.
• PutAI to work to move faster, whether that’s speeding up diagnosis, automatingrepetitive tasks, or drafting documentation.
• Explaintechnical things in plain language so people across the business know what’sgoing on and what to do next.
WhatYou’ll Bring
• Aroundthree or more years in business analysis, consulting, technical support, or asimilar delivery role. We’re open to a shorter track record if your workclearly stands out. Backgrounds in management or technology consulting(including the Big Four), professional services, or a technology services firmare all welcome.
• Atrack record of working independently. You can pick up an unfamiliar problem,work through the uncertainty, and sort it out without much hand-holding.
• Asolid grounding in core business analysis: requirements elicitation, processmapping, stakeholder management, and UAT.
• Comfortwith troubleshooting and support work, including staying level-headed whenthings break and knowing when to escalate.
• Experienceplanning and coordinating projects, with the discipline to keep timelines,tasks, and people on track.
• Clear,confident communication with people at every level, in writing and in person.
AISkills
AI ispart of the day job here, so we want someone who already works this way.
• Hands-onexperience using AI tools like Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, or Copilot in yourday-to-day work.
• Apractical sense for where AI helps with analysis, troubleshooting, andautomation, and where it gets in the way.
• Comfortwriting good prompts and giving the tools the context they need to be useful.
• Soundjudgment with AI output: you know these models have limits, you’re careful withsensitive data, and you check what they produce before relying on it.
TechnicalToolkit
• Excelat an advanced level for analysis and reporting.
• SQLyou’re comfortable with: joins, aggregations, window functions, and shapingdata for analysis.
• BasicPython for automation and the occasional troubleshooting task, or a trackrecord of picking up new languages quickly.
• Familiaritywith common BA and support tools like Jira, Confluence, and Visio, and asensible approach to logging and escalating issues.
• Agood grasp of how to diagnose and work through both business and technicalproblems.
Nice toHave
• Professionalfluency in Mandarin or Japanese is a plus.
• Someexperience in financial services, professional services, or another fast-movingenvironment.
• Exposureto IT service management or support engineering practices.
WorkingModel
• Afive-day week, with four standard days and one flexible day.
• Onthe flexible day, a required overlap of about two hours with US Eastern Time,so you can coordinate with colleagues there.
