Key Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize colour formulations using colour theory to achieve precise target shades.

• Perform colour matching across different polymer systems (e.g., PC, ABS, PP) while maintaining material properties.

• Operate colour spectrophotometer using SCI and SCE methods and interpret colour data (LAB, ΔE).

• Prepare clear and professional reports for customer review and internal documentation.

• Engage with customers to understand requirements and translate them into formulation solutions.

• Source and evaluate alternative raw materials based on cost, availability, and performance.

• Operate injection molding machines and extruders to produce test samples and colour plaques.

• Optimize processing parameters to ensure colour consistency and troubleshoot defects (e.g., streaking, degradation).

• Maintain proper documentation of formulations, trials, and processing conditions.
  

Requirements

• Diploma or Degree in Polymer Science, Materials Science, Chemistry, or related field.

• Experience in colour matching, masterbatch, or polymer compounding is preferred.

• Hands-on experience with spectrophotometer (SCI/SCE) is required.

• Familiarity with injection molding and/or extrusion is strongly preferred.

• Basic programming skills (e.g., Python) are a plus

• Strong understanding of colour theory and practical matching techniques.

• Good problem-solving skills with attention to detail.

• Ability to communicate with customers and internal stakeholders effectively.

Job Responsibilities:

• New Product Development (Polymer)
  -Research new product development for business needs
  -Identify customer's challenges and needs with their technical teams
  -Conduct project feasibility assessment for business needs
  -Perform product development projects scoping activities according to customer requirements and provide estimated budget of projects after consideration of all resources(including manpower, equipment and consumables) that are needed to deliver the project within a specific timeframe.
  -Liaise with collaborator for product innovation
  -Fulfil project deliverables and customer requirements
  -Evaluate the efficacy of polymers, reinforcements and additives on the properties and functions. -Recommend the raw materials based on performance vs. cost analysis
  -Conduct and provide data analysis and project progress report
  -Propose and recommend new technology development roadmap for future OPS product pipeline
  -Develop business case for implementing new technologies
• Bench Experiment & Scale-up Management
  -Conduct experimental run for new product development and commercialized the product
  -Transfer product knowledge and technical data during the scale up process for mass production
  -Validate the product performance to meet product specification during the scale up process
  -Implement product testing protocol and procedure for product validation
  -Coach the new staff to operate testing equipment & process machinery
  -Operate the testing equipment to conduct laboratory scale trial run activities
  -Provide technical support to resolve quality issues related to material & process control
  -Maintain safe work environment in accordance with all Safety Procedures
• Work Management
  -Participate in ISO QMS implementation and audit activities
  -Undertake task & project as assigned to achieve organization objective

Job Requirements:

• Minimum Degree in Science or Engineering, preferably in material science, polymer technology or chemical engineering.
• Minimum 3 years experience with strong background in organic and inorganic materials formulation, polymer processing and characterization.
• Experience in polymer compounding flow simulation and /or tooling CAD/CAM will be an added advantage
• Strong track record in product development

Specific Responsibility:

• Performing lab-scale and pilot-level compounding of new polymer / filler systems.
• Performing injection molding to prepare the test specimen for plastic testing.
• Ensures that lab machinery is operated following established processing, quality, safety, and housekeeping procedures.
• Cleans and prepares machinery for efficient changeovers and subsequent compounding & injection molding process.
• Trouble-shoots processing problems to ensure production of quality products.
• Keep complete and accurate records of process records.
• Assists routine maintenance of machinery & auxiliary equipment.
• Maintains surrounding work area according to established housekeeping standards.
• Complies with established safety policies and procedures.
• Performs other duties as required.

Job Requirements:

• Support, assist other aspects of Engineering Centre operation as and when necessary.
• Diploma in Science or Engineering, preferably in material science, polymer technology or chemical engineering.
• 3 years working experience with polymer processing.
• Experience in polymer compounding & injection moding will be an added advantage.

Job Responsibilities:

• Handle daily accounts receivable (AR) functions;

• Follow up with Export Department

• Timely generate and posting of sales invoices

• Ensure collection is posted promptly

• Contra inter-company balances to furnish amount for accounts payable function;

• Generate weekly sales report, monthly aging, SOA to customers

• To assist superior in Fixed Assets and inventory matters

• To assist superior in preparing supporting schedules for auditors and tax agents

• Assist in filing of documents and maintenance of records

• Other assignments from superior from time to time.

Job Requirements:

• Candidate must possess at least Diploma/Degree in Finance/Accountancy or equivalent.

• At least 1-2 Year(s) of working experience in the related field, knowledge in Account Receivable (AR), is required for this position.

• Required skill(s): Microsoft Excel, Word, Accounting Software.

• Knowledge of SAP is an added advantage.

• Strong analytical ability, positive thinking, problem solving and negotiation skills.

• Sharp time management skills and work independently.

• Strong ethics, with an ability to manage confidential data.

• Fast learner and able to work under pressure with a teamwork based.
