Job Description

OXKIDS Learning Centre is seeking a dedicated and experienced Mathematics Teacher to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality lessons aligned with the Singapore MOE syllabus, with a strong focus on PSLE preparation.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct Mathematics lessons for Primary and Secondary students (PSLE focus)
• Deliver lessons fully in English in accordance with Singapore education standards
• Prepare lesson materials, worksheets, and assessments
• Monitor students’ academic progress and provide targeted support
• Provide regular feedback to parents on students’ performance
• Participate in curriculum development and continuous improvement initiatives

Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics, Education, or related field
• Familiar with Singapore MOE syllabus and PSLE examination format
• Minimum 1–2 years of teaching experience (tuition centre or school setting preferred)
• Strong proficiency in English (spoken and written)
• Passionate about teaching and student development
• Strong classroom management and communication skills

Preferred Qualifications

• Prior experience teaching PSLE students with proven results
• Ability to handle both Primary and Lower Secondary levels
• Familiarity with differentiated teaching strategies

Teaching Experience: Minimum of 2 years of teaching experience.

Competitive Rates: $4k-$8.5k, depending on your experience.

Demonstrates strong familiarity with PSLE Science assessment requirements, key examinable concepts, and question trends，if better know O level Science.

Well-versed in PSLE Science syllabus, examination focus areas, and marking expectations

Development of classroom and course materials.

Expertise in delivering impactful in-person science lessons.

Skillful engagement with students in a classroom setting, fostering a positive learning atmosphere.

Adapt teaching methods to accommodate varying learning styles and levels of ability.

Clear articulation of scientific concepts, enhancing understanding and mastery.

Skillfully maintain classroom discipline and manage learning dynamics for optimal outcomes.

Exhibit patience and empathy while guiding students through their science learning journey.

Requirements: A graduate degree or above.
