Role purpose of the Business Acceptance Unit

• To process requests from partners for A&O to accept new legal matters including, in particular, performing anti-money laundering and background checks on new clients and performing conflicts checks (within internal databases) on each new matter (for both new and existing clients);
• To obtain from relevant lawyers required evidence of identity for new clients (and existing clients for whom the practice has done no work in the preceding two years and whose ownership or control may therefore have changed in the intervening period);
• To screen and, where requested, send conflict search emails (containing information on new legal matters) to all partners and to monitor responses, analyse search results and, in consultation with the originating lawyers, determine whether or not the new legal matter is clear of conflicts and appropriate for the practice to take on;

We are seeking a Technical Business Analyst to bridge the gap between our restaurant operations and technology solutions. You will lead the design and implementation of two critical systems: (1) a billing and sales expenditure tracking system, and (2) a QR-code-based website for customer self-ordering and payment at each table. Your goal is to increase operational efficiency, reduce errors, and enhance the guest experience.

· Analyze current manual or semi-digital billing processes and expenditure tracking (food cost, labor, overheads).

· Design and document requirements for a unified system that captures.Designed front‑end product pages with image uploads, title,and other requirements

· Daily sales (per table, per server, per menu item)

· Real-time expenditure (ingredients, supplies, wastage)

· Profitability per dish and per shift

· Work with developers or POS vendors to build or configure the system.

· Ensure integration with accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, Zoho Books).

· Create automated reports on cost of goods sold (COGS), margins, and expense anomalies.

· Lead the end-to-end requirements for a mobile-friendly website accessible via QR codes placed on each table.

· Scan QR code → View digital menu (with images, allergens, modifiers) → Add to cart → Enter table number → Pay online.

· Integrate payment gateways (Stripe, Razorpay, PayPal, or local UPI/cards).pricing & Monitoring: Scraping (BeautifulSoup, Scrapy), Price tracking (Keepa, CamelCamelCamel), Alerts (Prometheus, Grafana)

· Ensure the website syncs orders directly to the kitchen display system (KDS) or POS printer.

· Define requirements for table management (e.g., prevent order mixing, support splitting bills).

· Collaborate with UI/UX designers and developers for a frictionless experience.

· Ensure the QR ordering website pushes data (sales, items, payment status) back to the billing/expenditure system automatically.

· Define API requirements between systems.

· Handle offline scenarios (e.g., website down – fallback to manual billing).

· Write test cases for billing accuracy, payment security, and order routing.

· Conduct UAT (user acceptance testing) with restaurant staff.

· Train managers and servers on using the new systems.

· Monitor system performance, order conversion rates, and payment failures.

· Suggest improvements based on sales/expenditure data (e.g., remove low-margin items, adjust pricing).

Required Skills & Experience

· 6+ years as a Business Analyst, Technical BA, or Product Owner in restaurant, retail, or E-commerce field

· Proven experience designing POS systems and tracking or similar to front page design

· Solid understanding of language platforms, e-commerce checkout flows, and payment gateway integration.

· Ability to write functional requirements, user stories, and process flow diagrams (UML, BPMN).

· Basic technical knowledge: APIs (REST), databases (SQL), and web technologies (HTML/CSS/JS fundamentals) to communicate with developers.

· Excellent stakeholder management – you will work with chefs, servers, owners, and developers.

· Experience with Jira, Confluence, or Notion for documentation.

Job Responsibilities      

• Execute time‑critical cash operations including GIRO, Standing Orders, DDA/DCA, Cash Counter Services, and ad‑hoc operational tasks. 
• Ensure high accuracy and timeliness across daily processing activities, applying established controls and disciplined escalation. 
• Monitor and resolve exceptions escalated from a governance support model by offshore teams, ensuring issues are addressed promptly and in accordance with procedures. 
• Maintain and update SOPs and procedures to reflect process changes, new activities, or new business mandates. 
• Manage effective working relationships with Front Office, internal stakeholders, and external counterparties. 
• Ensure all transactions and communications are processed in line with SLAs, internal policies, and industry guidelines. 

Job Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification
• Minimum 3 years’ experience in a financial services organization, with proven exposure to Cash and Payments‑related products and operations. 
• Sound understanding of cash operations processes across functions, locations in the Asia‑Pacific region, and offshore operating models. 
• Strong technical and commercial understanding of operations products and end‑to‑end operational processes. 
• Demonstrated ability to analyze issues, take ownership, and drive problem resolution. 
• Ability to perform effectively in a fast‑paced, time‑critical environment with tight deadlines. 
• Proven capability to manage complexity and ambiguity, with a strong focus on risk management and control discipline. 
• A positive attitude, strong teamwork, and collaborative mindset are essential. 
• Prior experience in Risk and Control is an added advantage.

Assist the Discipline team in the overall management of the students’ discipline, on a daily basis

• Assist in manning detention for late comers after school, on an ad hoc basis

• Oversee students who are suspended from class, on an ad hoc basis

• Supervise, call on and ensure the conduct of Corrective Work Order – canteen/classroom cleaning

• Patrol the school premises to ensure orderliness, on a daily basis

• Be involved in case management for students identified as at-risk

• Conduct investigations as part of case management and submit report

• Conduct and follow-up on spot-checks on students’ general neatness in appearance like attire and hair and look into administrative recording of spot check outcome

• Participate in Case Management Meetings on an ad hoc basis

• Perform any other duties as and when assigned by the School Leaders or Subject Head, Student Management

Requirements:

Must have passed ‘N’ Level or its equivalent.

3. should possess good communication and inter-personal skills. He/she should also be a good team player with a high level of initiative and work well with staff and teachers on student matters

4. Having relevant experience in a school environment will be an advantage

Contract Period-From 15 July 2026 to 14 July 2027 Working hours:

• Mondays to Fridays: 7.15am to 2:30pm, inclusive of 45 min lunch break

• No need to work on Saturdays, Sundays, school holidays (in Mar/Jun/Sep/Nov/Dec) and gazetted public holidays
