About the Role!

We are seeking a results-driven Business Development Counterpart to grow our digital payment solutions. Acting as the vital bridge between merchants and our Tech team, you will generate new leads, secure high-revenue partnerships, and translate complex business needs into tailored payment experiences. The ideal candidate is an entrepreneurial, bilingual (English and Mandarin) problem-solver with a strong grasp of digital payment workflows and a proven drive to exceed sales targets in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

● Drive Revenue Growth: Actively generate sales leads, source new business opportunities, and secure high-revenue merchants to expand our digital payment footprint.

● Deliver Tailored Solutions: Conduct strategic meetings with potential merchants to understand their business needs, acting as the bridge to our Tech team to provide customized payment solutions.

● Manage the Sales Cycle: Develop and execute effective sales and marketing plans, consistently achieving or exceeding established monthly and quarterly targets.

● Cultivate Partnerships: Build profitable, long-standing relationships with clients and actively seek referrals from existing merchants to drive organic growth.

● Ensure Client Retention: Analyze merchant behavior and anticipate their needs, proactively engaging with at-risk accounts to prevent churn or service downgrades.

● Collaborate Cross-Functionally: Work closely with the broader Business Development team and internal stakeholders to support overall company objectives.

Requirements:

● Bachelor’s degree in Business, Sales, Marketing, or a related discipline.

● Bilingual proficiency in English and Mandarin (both written and spoken) to effectively communicate with our diverse merchant base.

● Good understanding of the digital payment ecosystem, including processes, pipelines, workflows, and relevant tools.

● An entrepreneurial, analytical, and independent problem-solver who thrives in a fast-paced environment.

● A proven track record in B2B sales, account management, partnership building, and revenue generation is highly advantageous.

● Good commercial understanding of technology solutions, specifically in the financial services industry would be preferred

•  Position: Business Development Manager (Education / EdTech)

• Location: Robinson Road (4 minutes walk from Tanjong Pagar MRT, walking distance from 2 other MRT stations)

• Working hours: Monday to Friday (9am 6pm)

• Salary (commensurate with experience): Up to $6,800 + Travel Allowance

• Duration: Permanent

• Industry: Enrichment and Education

Main Responsibilities:

• Drive business development and partnership growth with schools, enrichment centres, and education stakeholders.

• Develop and execute marketing campaigns across digital channels, social media, email marketing, and events.

• Manage CRM, sales pipeline, and lead generation activities.

• Build relationships with educators, distributors, and regional partners across Southeast Asia.

• Represent the company at education exhibitions, seminars, and networking events.

• Support market expansion initiatives and identify new business opportunities.

Requirements:

• Diploma or Degree in Business, Marketing, Education, or related field.

• 4–7 years of business development, partnerships, or marketing experience.

• Experience in Education, EdTech, Educational Publishing, or Enrichment industry preferred.

• Hands-on experience with CRM platforms and digital marketing tools.

• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

• Willing to travel within Southeast Asia when required.
