Job Title: Senior Business Analyst

Experience: 8–10 years
Employment Type: Contract(12 Months Renewable)

Role Overview

We are seeking a highly confident and articulate Senior Business Analyst with 8–10 years of experience to drive business and technology initiatives. The ideal candidate will possess strong stakeholder management skills, excellent communication abilities, and a proven track record of delivering impactful business solutions.

Key Responsibilities

• Engage with business stakeholders to understand strategic objectives, challenges, and requirements
• Translate business needs into clear, structured functional and non-functional requirements
• Act as a bridge between business teams and technology/delivery teams
• Lead requirement gathering workshops, stakeholder discussions, and solution walkthroughs
• Analyze current processes, identify gaps, and recommend optimized solutions
• Prepare business requirement documents (BRDs), functional specifications, user stories, and process flows
• Support project delivery across the full lifecycle (initiation to implementation)
• Collaborate with project managers, developers, QA teams, and vendors to ensure alignment
• Drive UAT (User Acceptance Testing) and ensure business sign-off
• Manage multiple stakeholders across different levels, including senior leadership  

Key Requirements

• 8–10 years of experience as a Business Analyst in enterprise environments
• Singaporean nationality (as required for stakeholder alignment and regulatory context)  
• Strong communication and presentation skills with high confidence in stakeholder interactions
• Proven experience in stakeholder management and influencing decision-making
• Ability to handle ambiguity and work in fast-paced environments

• Experience with Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery methodologies

Key Responsibilities:

•Lead end-to-end analysis, design, and implementation of HRIS enhancements, integrations, and new functionalities specific to banking and finance.

•Act as a subject matter expert on HRIS best practices, data security, and regulatory compliance (e.g., SOX, GDPR) for financial institutions.

•Support large-scale HRIS implementation, including system migrations, upgrades, and integrations with payroll, benefits, and compliance platforms.

•Drive data conversion and ensure the highest standards of data integrity, confidentiality, and compliance with industry regulations.

•Develop, interpret, and present complex HRIS reports and analytics to support workforce planning, compensation, and strategic HR initiatives.

•Provide expert-level support, training, and documentation for HRIS users across HR, payroll, risk, and compliance teams.

•Collaborate with external vendors and internal IT teams to resolve technical issues, optimize system performance, and drive innovation.

•Identify, recommend, and implement process improvements and automation opportunities within HRIS and related HR functions.

•Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and regulatory changes to ensure HRIS solutions remain compliant and competitive.

Qualifications:

•Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field; advanced degree preferred.

•Minimum 8 years of progressive HRIS experience, with at least 3 years in banking or financial services.

•In-depth knowledge of leading HRIS platforms (e.g., Workday, Oracle HCM, SAP SuccessFactors) and their application in the financial sector. Workday implementation experience preferred.

•Demonstrated success managing complex HRIS projects, system integrations, and process improvements.

•Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.

•Expertise in regulatory compliance, data security, and risk management within financial services.

•Excellent communication, stakeholder engagement, and leadership abilities.

• Review project related submission (specification, drawing, test procedure and method statement etc.) and facilitate project team on the following-up to ensure the submission is compliant with project requirement

• Supervise on-site installation, testing and commissioning, interfacing matter, integration testing, punchlist/defect work and handover activity to ensure the quality of work is compliant with project requirement

• Coordinate with project team, contractors, interfacing contractors and other project stakeholders to resolve site issues and clashes to ensure the work is in line with project requirement

• Facilitate project team to monitor the working schedule, update, review and report the project progress to be in line with project timeline

• Attend project related meetings, coordination meetings and interfacing meetings to ensure projectdelivery is on track

• Support project team to manage project related work to ensure project is delivered based on projecttimeline.

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Recognized diploma/degree in Engineering (electronics or mechanical) or related discipline

• Relevant project management experience:

At least 3 years in project coordination, site installation, testing and commissioning of rail E&M system in Singapore transit environment

Relevant experience in coordinating and interfacing with local transit stakeholders (i.e. railway/transit operator) to carry out A&A, system upgrading or new system implementation work at revenue stations

Experience in Automatic Fare Collection System upgrade, relocation and system migration projectsin transit environment would be an advantage.

• Proficient in Microsoft Office, AutoCAD, BIM or similar drawing tools for design drawing review

• Highly motivated and pro-active with the ability to work independently

• Good collaboration and attitude to work with team members

• Ability to cope with flexible working hours

• Be expected to perform night work or work during engineering hours

• Good analytical and problem-solving skills

• Good communication skills in English

• Be expected to travel regularly between office and sites (Travel allowance will be provided).
