About the role

LD Micro Precision Sdn Bhd is seeking a skilled CNC Machinist cum Programmer to join our team in Penang. As a CNC Machinist cum Programmer, you will be responsible for operating and programming our state-of-the-art CNC machines to produce high-precision parts and components. This is a full-time position that offers excellent opportunities for career growth and development within our dynamic Mechanical Engineering organization.

Responsibilities:

Operate CNC machines to manufacture parts and components to specifications
Program CNC machines using CAD/CAM software to create efficient and accurate machining processes
Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on CNC machines to ensure optimal performance
Continuously seek ways to improve efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness of the manufacturing process
Collaborate with engineers and production teams to identify and resolve any issues or challenges
Maintain detailed records and documentation of all machining activities
Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations to ensure a safe work environment

Requirements:

Minimum 5 years of experience as a CNC Machinist or CNC Programmer
Strong proficiency in operating a variety of CNC machines center
Proven experience in programming CNC machines using CAD/CAM software
Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills to identify and resolve issues
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work
Good communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
A diploma or degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field is preferred
