We are looking for a responsible and detail-oriented Accounts Assistant (Site Costing) to join our growing team.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and monitor project/site costing.
• Analyze project costs and identify cost variances.
• Verify supplier invoices, purchase orders, and delivery orders.
• Prepare costing reports for management.
• Monitor material, labour, and subcontractor costs.
• Assist in monthly account closing and account reconciliations.
• Prepare SST reports and assist in SST submission, ensuring compliance with the latest regulations.
• Maintain accurate accounting and costing records.
• Coordinate with Project Managers, Site Engineers, Purchasing Department, and external auditors/tax agents when required.
• Perform other ad hoc duties assigned by management.

Requirements

1. Diploma or Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
2. Minimum 1–3 years of relevant working experience.
3. Experience in the construction industry and project/site costing is an added advantage.
4. Knowledge of SST preparation and compliance is preferred.
5. Proficient in Microsoft Excel and accounting software (AutoCount)
6. Strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills.
7. Responsible, detail-oriented, and able to work independently while meeting deadlines.

Job Requirements:

• Diploma or degree in finance/account/economic or any other business relevant academic qualifications.
• Good understanding of accounting principles & financial regulations.
• Strong sense of responsibility & confidentiality.

Job Responsibilities:

• Assist in handling daily accounting operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable functions.
• Prepare and process invoices, payments, and receipts accurately and in a timely manner.
• Maintain proper accounting records, ensuring all financial transactions are correctly recorded and filed.
• Perform data entry and update accounting systems in compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Assist in bank reconciliations and monitor cash flow to ensure accuracy of financial records.
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities, including preparation of financial reports and schedules.
• Liaise with internal departments and external parties (e.g., auditors, vendors, and banks) on finance-related matters.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial analysis when required.
• Handle confidential financial information with integrity and discretion.
• Support ad-hoc finance and administrative tasks as assigned by the supervisor or management.
