This is a structured training role designed to progressively develop operational capability in logistics coordination and project support as part of a progressive development programme.

Key Responsibilities.

1. Daily Logistics Operations Support

Job Description & Requirements

Mandatory Skills Responsibilities

• Provide Level 2 production support for business applications and batch jobs

• Monitor applications, troubleshoot incidents, and ensure SLA compliance

• Support and maintain Java/J2EE applications in Linux/Unix environments

• Develop and maintain Python and Shell scripting for automation and operational support

Requirements

Job Description

• Plan, set up, and manage all IT and network infrastructure for new store openings, including computers, printers, mobile devices, CCTV systems, Wi-Fi, and telephone lines.
• Coordinate, supervise, and manage external vendors for IT and technical setup works.
• Set up and manage new user email accounts, including account creation, configuration, access rights assignment, and ongoing maintenance.
• Manage and maintain all IT server, systems, hardware, software, and networks across the group of companies.
• Ensure all outlets’ CCTV systems and IT equipment are fully operational at all times.
• Provide day-to-day technical support to users, including troubleshooting hardware, software, and network issues.
• Perform daily maintenance of PCs, laptops, and server rooms, including system updates and checks. Monitor, manage, and maintain network infrastructure such as routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs.
• Ensure IT security through proper data backups, antivirus management, system access control, and security best practices.

Job Requirement

• Diploma or Degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field
• Minimum 2 years of hands-on experience in IT support, infrastructure, or systems administration (retail / multi-outlet environment preferred)
• Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure setup including PCs, laptops, printers, mobile devices, CCTV systems, network cabling, Wi-Fi, routers, switches, firewalls, and VPNs
• Familiar with Windows OS, basic server administration, email systems (e.g. Microsoft 365 / Google Workspace), and user access management
• Working knowledge of network troubleshooting, hardware diagnostics, and software issue resolution
• Strong troubleshooting, problem-solving, and incident management skills
• Able to manage multiple tasks, prioritize issues, and work independently with minimal supervision
• Good communication and coordination skills to support users across different outlets

Responsibilities:

1.      Provide 24x7 production support onsite / offsite

2.      Investigate production issues, determine production defect severity and provide workaround to user if feasible to move business forward

3.      Manage and respond to users on timely manner.

4.      Log incident ticket for production issues and user queries

5.      Provide necessary information needed for further investigation to next level support (L3) to proceed with fix

6.      Prioritize defects and plan for production release based on defect criticality or align with quarterly release

7.      Follow up on defect and incident closure and meet incident closure KPI

8.      Share production defect support learning with QA team and development team to improve application quality and minimize future defects

9.      Make sure system availability as per respective agreed SLA

10.   Support EOD batch run

11.   Perform annual Disaster Recovery (DR) exercise for supported applications

12.   Provide support to System Engineers on server level patches / upgrade as and when applicable

13.   Ensure proper knowledge transfer (KT) from project / development team before enhancement release

14.   Ensure application documentation is properly updated for each production release

Requirements:

Must have: -

• Bachelor’s degree of Computer Science/IT or Engineering
• 10 years working experience in IT industry as Development or Production Support role of which minimum 5 years relevant experience in the banking/financial industry.
• Good and assertive communicator in speaking & writing.
• Good analytic and problem-solving skills
• Able to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment and weekend / wee hours.
• Experience in L2 or L3 production support

Good to have: -

• Understanding of ITIL, SDLC, FI/Banking domain knowledge
• Knowledge on enterprise tools, i.e., MQ, Connect Direct, Control M, Helix, Aldon, etc.
• Knowledge on monitoring, log analytics, automation tools, i.e. Geneos, Splunk, Ansible, Grafana, Elastic Search etc

Key Domain/ Technical Skills:

Job Responsibilities:

·       Lead and manage the purchasing system for QC, including:

·       Ordering stationery and non-laboratory items from the Com-office.

·       Raising Purchase Requisitions (PRs)for laboratory consumables, chemicals and services.

·       Receive incoming items and verify against Delivery Orders; perform stock-taking as required.

Responsibilities

• Provide first-level technical support for kiosk and self check-in systems deployed at hotels to ensure continuous operation
