Work Location:

• Bukit Timah Plaza / Thomson Plaza / Parkway Centre

Work Days:

• Days: Monday to Friday

• Shift Hours: Staff will be assigned afternoon shifts ranging from 4 to 6 hours, scheduled between 12.30pm and 6.45pm, subject to operational requirements (during school term)
• Shift Hours: 7am-7pm (during MOE school holidays, shifts available)

Part-Time Hourly Rate: $12-$13 an hour

Job Responsibilities:

• Supervise students with their daily routines, including meal time, homework supervision, academic learning and recreational activities
• Provide care, guidance and support to primary school children outside of their school hours
• Assist the main teacher with classroom management
• Assist in organising and delivery of holistic programmes (both indoor and outdoor)
• Create a safe, nurturing and positive learning environment for students
• Fetch the students from school
• Accompany children home on the school bus after school
• Assist in other adhoc duties as required

Job Requirements:

• Minimum GCE A level/Diploma in any discipline
• Undergraduates are welcome to apply
• Strong proficiency in spoken and written English
• Able to coach primary school subjects adequately
• Strong communication skills
• Genuine interest towards guiding and nurturing children
• Prior experience in student care and/or enrichment setting would be advantageous
