Position:Treasury Manager

Working Time:Mon – Friday,9am-6pm

Location: :KPMG Tower Bandar Utama, Selangor

Job Descriptions:

• Manage daily liquidity positions and cash flow requirements across banking operations and branch networks.
• Ensure optimal fund allocation and efficient liquidity positioning across branches.
• Monitor liquidity levels and ensure compliance with internal treasury policies and regulatory requirements.
• Support funding strategies and short-term cash management activities, and liquidity planning.
• Coordinate treasury-related support for trade finance and funding requirements.
• Maintain adequate liquidity buffers to support operational and business needs.
• Oversee treasury activities across multiple branches or business locations.
• Coordinate inter-branch fund transfers and liquidity movements to optimize cash utilization.
• Ensure timely and accurate execution of branch-to-branch settlement, funding and reconciliation processes.
• Standardize treasury procedures, controls, and operational practices across branch networks.
• Support liquidity pooling initiatives and treasury process enhancements.
• Monitor operational efficiency and identify opportunities for process improvement and automation.
• Analyzelyse cash flow trends, liquidity positions, and treasury performance metrics.
• Support forecasting and planning of funding and liquidity requirements across branches.
• Provide recommendations to optimize funding structure and minimize liquidity and funding risks
• Prepare treasury reports, dashboards, forecasts and management updates.
• Deliver data-driven insights to support strategic treasury and operational decision making.
• Leverage digital tools and reporting systems to improve treasury reporting efficiency and accuracy.
• Ensure treasury operations comply with banking regulations, internal controls, and corporate governance standards.
• Monitor liquidity risk exposure, funding gaps, and treasury-related operational risks.
• Support internal and external audit requirements related to treasury operations and funding processes.
• Strengthen control frameworks for inter-branch fund movement and treasury governance.
• Ensure proper documentation, record maintenance and adherence to treasury operational standards and procedures.
• Support continuous improvement of treasury risk management and compliance practices.
• Work closely with branch managers, finance teams, operations teams and group treasury.
• Coordinate branch funding requirements and liquidity support with branches and headquarters.
• Support treasury and operational initiatives driven by HQ and Shared Service Centre.
• Act as key liaison between SSC Malaysia and Laos banking operations.

Requirements:

• Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Finance, Accounting, Banking, Economics, or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in treasury, banking, or financial services.
• Strong experience in liquidity management, cash flow management, treasury operations, and inter branch fund movement.
• Exposure to multi-branch banking operations, treasury reporting, and funding coordination.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, stakeholder management, and communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel, treasury reporting tools, and financial systems.
• Tech-savvy, adaptable, and experienced in regional banking or Shared Service Centre (SSC) environments is an added advantage
