Leading A1 Main Contractor in Singapore, is appoint a Site Manager to oversee the delivery of a high-profile development project. The project comprises a landmark building with basement works, landscaping, and integration with transport and park infrastructure.

Responsibilities

• Lead and manage daily site operations for a large-scale, building project involving structural works, architectural finishes, and integrated landscaping.
• Supervise subcontractors, site staff, and workers to ensure works are executed according to schedule, budget, and safety standards.
• Coordinate with consultants, architects, engineers, and client representatives to resolve site issues and design queries promptly.
• Oversee basement excavation, structural construction, M&E coordination, and finishing works.
• Enforce Workplace Safety and Health (WSH) regulations and company safety policies across all site activities.
• Conduct inspections and quality checks to ensure compliance with drawings, specifications, and project standards.
• Prepare and present site reports, progress updates, and incident documentation.
• Support Project Manager in variation orders, claims, and contractual matters.

Requirements

• Diploma/Degree in Civil Engineering, Building, Construction Management, or equivalent.
• Minimum 5 years of site management experience in building projects (public, institutional, or mixed-use developments).
• Experience working with an A1 Main Contractor or equivalent tier is highly preferred.

Role Overview

The Architectural Coordinator / Assistant Manager will take ownership of architectural coordination from design development through construction. The role involves close collaboration with consultants, internal project teams, and subcontractors to ensure architectural works are accurately executed in compliance with design intent, statutory requirements, and project specifications.

• Lead and manage architectural design coordination throughout the project lifecycle

• Review, coordinate, and approve architectural shop drawings, submission drawings, and revisions

• Liaise closely with architects, MEP and structural consultants to resolve design and interface issues

• Coordinate with site teams to address architectural, constructability, and sequencing matters

• Ensure architectural works comply with project specifications, building codes, and authorities’ requirements

• Manage RFIs, design clarifications, site instructions, and consultant responses

• Monitor architectural progress and proactively highlight risks or discrepancies

• Maintain proper document control, drawing registers, and revision tracking

• Chair or actively participate in coordination meetings and prepare coordination minutes

• Provide technical guidance and support to junior coordinators where required

• Support project management team in quality control, inspections, and handover processes
